Redcoats vs Archers . One side quest I have been working on is becoming the World Bank. Awhile back Miguelito offered me a gold for gpt interest deal which I accepted. And since then I've been seeking out similar deals, scoring one with Donovan awhile back. This is why I was at +38gpt here.


I did upgrade my top archers to Crossbows and dry-whipped another Archer, but against Redcoats that does not really matter. Actually, I'm noticing now he will come up 1 unit short unless he attacks amphibiously. So maybe I'll get one more turn, but beyond that, we should be done here. I was hoping to get my Moai cap into Bureaucracy, but it wasn't meant to be. Time for Sleepytime for the Japanese Empire after living approximately 90T longer than I had any right to.

Well, I sort of did! I got a kill with a Crossbow, not an Archer, but it was an arrow nonetheless. Or I guess more of a bolt. To be fair, this was a GG Crossbow that was well-promoted, so my odds were ~40% to win that fight.
