Okay, so I guess Sian didn't have a chop to complete the 'henge. Then I expect it to appear next turn smile

But yes, I do have vision on Sian's capital, from which we can expect to see alot of wonders being built. I'm interested in selling this information to anyone interested in purchasing it.

Conversely, my silence is also for sale. Why Sian, it would be terrible if SAT were to build a crucial economic wonder before you did, it could delay your phracts by over a dozen turns.

Things on the negotiating table (this is an either/or):
-A guarantee/NAP to not attack the person with a Chu-Ko-Nus with phracts.
-Divying up some of the non-henge wonders. Because this is a deal in your favour, what with my ability to track your wonder builds, I reserve the right of first pick.

I am willing to commit SAT to not using cataphracts in any attacks, in exchange for information as to who is building what wonder.

For the entire game.

I bet you won't get that guarantee from Sian!!

(I feel pretty confident that my partner will back me up on this...)

I don't see why you think Zhu-Ge-Nu's are so powerful. 6 vs. 12 strength is pretty lopsided.

I don't see why your ability to track Sian's builds makes Sian have the advantage.

Gamelong NAP's? Divvying up wonders? Good thing this is public diplo. (Or is it AI diplo? I can't remember.) At least we know who's sinking hammers into wonders and growth instead of military.

I second these sentiments. I'm sure Bigger will find that deal acceptable.

Because the ability to generate collateral damage is incredibly powerful. Collateral initiative is something that can can determine whoever wins a battle. Classic example, Rego wiping a massive stack of infantry and artillery using rifles and catapults in pbem8. If Sian's small stack of catapults were positioned on his southern border in pbem23, he would have wiped out our initial advance. Me, I have a really cool source of collateral.

And because I can track Sian's wonder builds, that means any wonder deal between us is innately in Sian's advantage smile

Collateral I can understand. Of course, that only works when attacking. Plus, Cataphract's innate 2-moves will make attacking into Sian difficult.

No, but why? You know all about Sian's builds, so don't you have the advantage?

Exactly, which means it is in Sian's interest to cut a deal.

Oh, when you said 'deal in your favor,' I thought it meant the wonder race was in Sian's favor, not the negotiated deal.

Wow, the save is being passed around very quickly lately. Sorry for the holdup earlier, I was out until the afternoon. I'd like to congratulate everyone on keeping the save running and getting a turn in every one or two days.

Let me just chime in and remind you all that any agreements made here are completely non-binding cause this is AI diplo. Last I checked, you can't make gamelong NAPs with an AI opponent. So I'm not sure how valuable a promise of not getting attacked by Cataphracts really is, even though I'm assuming AT was making a joke since he doesn't have any 'phracts. But the same goes for Wonder agreements and shorter-term NAPs. If I were you guys, I'd be wary of trusting any deals made on here - this place is more useless than the real-world UN.

Oh and the peace treaty offer has been sent, stick. I also notice you used Pinyin instead of the outdated (and somewhat retarded) Wades-Giles they used in Civ while talking about China's UU. Nice touch :D
