Thanks for the correction Azza, although I just noticed that I calculated right using the wrong numbers You will have a pretty large time slot in the evening, as long as the save is forwarded before you go to bed it will arrive in a timely manner.

TheArchDuke, what is your morning time slot typically like? I could swap you in for my slot if mornings are good for you. Chances are good it will be in your inbox by 6-7 in the morning if you go after Azza.

I have a crazy idea: Leaving Tech Trading on (no brokering). With limited diplo, we won't have much incentive to build up large tech trading alliances as we won't be able to coordinate tech efforts. Has the side benefit of making Alphabet worth researching.

Any takers on this, or prefer leaving it off?

Hmm, someone should make a thread with the RB PBEM rules because there seems to be a shitload of rules which use 2 words and everybody is like "yeah exactly" and I am like "ehrm... what?".

Ehrm, I would love to do mornings. I am a morning person and spend about 6-8 with reading, eating and other stuff before work. Feel free to put my turn at 6-9 a.m. CET.

Let's try making a schedule around UTC (GMT) time and placing the respective players' times in brackets. For example:

Catwalk 5-9 (6-10)
Xenon 9-12 (11-14)

As mentioned earlier, I'm usually fine with an evening slot.

I've made several rough schedule propositions. Times are UTC (bracketed times are local time), 24 hour clock:

5-9 Catwalk (6-10)
9-13 Azza (19-23)
13-17 Xenon (15-19)
17-21 TheArchduke (19-23)
21-5 superjm/waterbat (17-1)

I've also been thinking that swapping Catwalk and TheArchduke might work:

5-9 TheArchduke (7-11)
9-13 Azza (19-23)
13-17 Xenon (15-19)
17-21 Catwalk (18-22)
21-5 superjm/waterbat (17-1)

Finally, by tinkering with this last one, I got a schedule with uneven timeslots:

5-9 TheArchduke (7-11)
9-13 Azza (19-23)
13-16 superjm (9-12)
16-19 Xenon (18-21)
19-22 Catwalk (20-23)
22-5 waterbat (18-1)

Any other propositions are welcome. I'm free GMT 4-7, 16-22 (if cutting the slot down, I'd prefer starting from the GMT 16:00 side).

I am usually available noon or evenings. Some weekdays I actually have to show up at work, so noon wouldn't work every day. I'm also apt to play during odd hours too.

Is the OP updated with all of our current settings?

Thanks for making the drafts Xenon. I got an idea for how to organize it neatly in a spreadsheet, will post a few more suggestions soon.
