Wow, so I don't show up the first few hours, after I said in the planning thread that I wouldn't be able to show up in the first few hours even though that will probably make everyone hate me, and I come to the game this morning to find 3 votes against me just as I predicted. Priceless. :neenernee
I've read through the first conversations, but unfortunately I don't see any particular reasons to be sure of voting for anyone yet, so I'll just vote BRickAstley for now to make sure I don't forget to vote on someone else real later. Else I'll be a real fool. 
So since I've shown up I won't keep all of the "He's new so we should kill him first votes" right? It's slightly discouraging cause I just wanna play the game.
As for roleplay, apparently Chairman Yang, of the Hive, though I haven't played any Alpha Centurai before so I know nothing about the man. It is a man right?

Get a reasonable number of posts in as day 1 and your newb protection should save you. Given the results of the last game there was always going to be a backlash against lurkers (and novice) so I expect a low poster to die today. Contribute and it shouldn't be you

Okay well thank you Jkaen, that's a good tip. Unfortunate for novice though, he seems to get always picked on just cause the random numbers roll him wolf a little more often than usual. :D
After some more reading, I've noticed that thestick seems to be fond of throwing out accusations all here and there and everywhere. I'd prefer not to vote for you since I think you're a fellow villager and you were nice to me, I'd just like to here you gather your thoughts a bit.

Stick, I took maniac's claim to be a joke claim. I didn't put any more thought into it until your post. Do you think it was serious?
If it was indeed a serious claim, Maniac seems like a good place to start.
Now that brick has arrived, everyone is accounted for. I'm still on watch for lurkers though.

Okay. Current thoughts:
-zakalwe seems to be analyzing anything that moves. It seems that he usually does that, though. Noted, moving on.
-waterbat seems to be trying to kill all the lurkers (Serdoa, Injera). A safe vote for a wolf, or feeling bitter about not killing the lurkers last game?
-I buy Injera's theory about Bob. Still think that it wouldn't be the best move to kill novice on him being a good player.
Besides that, nothing much. Who's going to compile the vote tallies since Rowain's not playing?

I thought he was being serious. He wasn't, though. I guess this is the price I pay for not playing SMAC: not getting the inside jokes.
waterbat's the only person I have any potential scum tells on, so I'll vote for him. Voting for lurkers seems like a 'safe' vote.
Correction, waterbat voted Serdoa and Brick, not Injera. And then voted for Maniac. Am I the only one who doesn't think being unkillable is a weird claim?
