Build enough econ to tech to more prickly units.

Build said prickly units.

Be unashamed bold in diplo deals.

Troll through diplo. The turn after I whipped, I sent pindicator a trade of my copper for his 2 cities bordering GJ. So paranoia is fun. If you think of anything else skeevy like that let me know.

I had thought about declaring war on every player in the game and refusing to sign peace, just to see what happens. I decided not to because that would make a hairy mess of turn splits.

Back in PB8 I thought about declaring war on everyone at one point when I thought all was lost. Turns out I lived on forever after that, so I may have had regrets about making an enemy out of everyone at that point in time. I find it's better to go all out and troll one player to the best (worst?) of your abilities, to generate the most visceral loathing. If you do it to everyone you'll be less effective and they'll all shrug it off. Do it to one person and you may even get them to say a dirty word or two, because we all know The Internet is Serious Business.
