So, to me that's people of a given nationality. I believe there's a US meaning along the lines of "national finals" though (correct me if I'm wrong).
So America and Mexico as countries. Pitch as a where the final is played. And I'm not sure about the fourth: Embassy?

Dave is American, right?

The Nationals are the professional baseball team in D.C., hence the team that Pitches in the Capital of America. I'm less sure on the fourth word, either Embassy or Mexico....

At first I thought the 4 words were America, Mexico, Capital and Embassy. However sunrise makes a good point that the Washington Nationals are a baseball team, so Pitch has to be one. So now I'm thinking America/Pitch/Capital/???.

Not sure on the last word though, MEXICO is probably the most likely answer unless Dave is solely referring to Baseball, in which case something like SCREEN could work. Maybe we could pass? (after making it clear which one we lean on of course)
