OT4E and OHFSTETC are hammering one another, mutual razes in the last ten turns. I'd say yay, but I don't think it'll work out well for OT4E, and might just hand the Persians the chance to win. Immortals > AbominNumids, alas.
Lot of sitting around with thumbs up butts here in the Bad 'Hood. An armed society is a polite society, and I think we all respect one another enough to not try anything opportunistic. Sailing finishes here next turn, that'll make it a bit more interesting.

Darrell Naw. It's legit scary, yo. Imma pop this warrior, tho.
My dotmap is pretty complete. Dry Wood is two turns away, and I thiiiiink Ballplay is going one tile more east. Essex or Sugar Bunker are reaches, but given TBS's proximity to that isle I don't think that's happening. I think Plako/Gavagai/Pindicator can have the nasty snarl in the southeast. Probably.

Pitboss 38 Part One
Turn 75: End of the Savage State
We're here. Undersized, unhealthy, underrated. Rome 1000BC isn't doing terribly, but we're nothing like the big boys of Mackoti, TBS, or Rustern. Or even like OH/dtay, with a thousand size 1 cities. Rather, we have several very middling cities of average size and development. GNP is probably going to be maxed out to top once the three libraries finish in two turns, but that's no matter. MFG and CY are the big indicators at this point in the game, and my three mines aren't impressing anyone. It's an...okay set of demographics.
Of course, the biggest current worry for me is power. I'm in the middle of hooking up iron, so I'm going to try and hold out to be able to start massing praets over axe/spear trash; neither impressive nor awe-inspiring, strength 7 swords are nonetheless very nice behind walls. I'd be more worried were it not for the fact that Gavagai is using his power on Bandit right now; that's probably to his south an must make the newbie attractive meat for plako, as well. That's what I'll tell myself, anyway.
The single biggest lack in my empire at present is actually worker labor. As you can see I've been criminally under-workering as I try to claim territory at the edges of empire. At present I have one single worker in the south, one east, and three in the north. Horses are neglected criminally, but I'm only landing three more cities on the outer edge before I'm done.
Any questions here at the end of part one? This oddly quiet little corner of the world must be a bit dull to watch. I'm happy answering questions with what I know and I'm happy to speculate on what I don't know.

If Bumbos bounce when they fall off a cliff does that mean you'll win?

Darrell No. There is no win in PB38.
TBS has the ability to be highly annoying here if he wants.
If he goes 1S and declares war, I'll have to DoW Pindicator to get through his borders to save the aptly named Dry Wood.

Interesting days here in the Bad Neighborhood. Although it's still nothing like the violence of the OH/OT/WLP/GJ.Elk area. B4ndit the newbie had the misfortune of starting next to plako and Gavagai. The results are clear; these were both Bandit camps.
I'm not sure if I'll manage to meet Bandit before he dies, poor lad isn't doing well and war chariots are scary.
Updated Neighborhood (beautiful day not included):
As you can see, I'm nearing the apex of my mainland expansion, and TBS has handily cut off my dreams of island city north. I'd consider dropping Praetorians onto his doorstep there but Superdeath yet lives. Until that nutjob dies TBS is completely safe from me.

I feel like that's meant to be a pun. But the closest I can come is kittyhawk?
