That was a tough last grouping. I don't know if this would have worked - maybe the reference is too obscure -- but maybe SARLACC (3) to clue in the pit monster from Return of the Jedi?

That would definitely have gotten Pit, and probably Force, but I'm having trouble seeing how it gets Root. I had thought of doing Dagobah for Force + Root but was afraid it would miss Pit.

Yeah, I agree. It would have been a stretch for root, and even then tail would have been easily mistaken.
I guess I'm down for cluing if nobody else wants to.

GG all, and good job team! It's rare to see a game with no errors.
I was convinced that Mardoc would clue "Canal, 3" for his last word, and that the game would come down to whether Blue could choose correctly from Force, Cross, and Beach (which I intentionally left on the board for that purpose). Perhaps "Tunneling" would have worked?

Sadly I am limited to phone internet atm. Fortunately I knew this in advance and prepared the answer key for round 2 earlier, so I will send that out shortly. Can I ask one of the spymasters to post the blank grid in this thread for me?
