This is a pretty small map. What you see above is just about the full extent of "peaceful settle".

(a) Knights, horse archers or boats?
(b) Whom?
Also:
Anything else overpowered in BTS you're planning on exploiting, after fast workers and the GLH?

So Donovan has been playing super sketchy clock games, and if definitely planning on attacking us. Even so, if there's a single war chariot in this captured barbarian city, I'm going to be extremely tempted next turn...
Economy is booming, gang. Hopefully we can keep it with spears; if Donovan is going axes instead of horse archers, we're going to hurt.

How soon until you claim your own horses? What do your graphs look like?

Why defend with spears? You have the mighty Fast Worker! Surely they can keep you safe without help!

Fun times, folks. My "can I mess with Superdeath" spear gets himself landed here next door to the captured barbarian city.
Superdeath being Superdeath, he immediately declares war. Of course. And offers peace. He's got 5 cities; his capital, two self-settles, one captured from Chumchu/Old Harry, and this one from the barbs. We got seven this turn. I'm willing to see how this goes.
...how it goes at first, thankfully, is a good solid win only taking a little damage. The spear has enough XP to promote, so we'll see if that works.
Why am I feeling a little bit more confident? Well, Donovan has opted to go east rather than south. So that's pretty awesome. Superdeath has done his patented Ruin One Neighbor And Self start, I think we can contain him. Not like he's ever going to be trustworthy to border.
The other bit of news is our Great Prophet being born. Full speed ahead on Judaism.
