Yes, you've got that correct. Thanks for doing the rolls for us!

No problem. I have neither the capability nor the fortitude to mapmake, but rolling civs is simple enough that I can contribute that way.

If we leave it at no pillage-farming them, i.e. attack to take the city, then it seems easier to remember and pretty clear cut.
But, as usual, I am open to pretty much anything.
Agree there. If you dow a CS you must do so for real.

Working overtime now and crazy busy but I should be able to get it this weekend.

Last response by Ioan was on the 14th May. I really do not want another PBEM 17 pace. Shall we go with 4 or hope for the best?

Yeah, I was planning to say earlier today (before I got distracted) that I've got everyone's first-round picks in but Ioan, and he hasn't responded to me at all. I might suggest giving him another day to respond and just drop him if he hasn't gotten back to me by ~24 hours from now, but I can see the argument that he's already demonstrated potential pace issues.

Sounds good.

I agree with dropping Ioan76 from the lineup if we don't hear back in a reasonable time.

While the time limit I mentioned in my posted hasn't quite ended, I'm not going to hold out much hope for Ioan's return, especially not given that I'm probably going to bed earlier than usual tonight. Now's a good time to talk about how we want to deal with the impact on setup:
1) The simplest option is to just keep going, treating Ioan's options as being tossed back into the pool with a reroll.
1b) Alternatively, since he didn't get to properly fish out 'good picks', I could cast them out from the repick pool and only give people civs that were *actually* rejected.
2) You could replace him with a refugee from the (impending?) collapse of PBEM 17, if there's anyone over there that isn't burned out and hasn't already jumped onto this one.
3) Or, we could restart the whole picking process with the proposal on page 6 of adding two more civs to the pool and handing 3 options to everyone.
