(Spoilers) Superdeath's Mean Green Eating Machine

Well, depending on what Mjmd does in response to what i did this turn... We may end up at war next turn! ( otherwise it will be in like 2t.. )

Anyway, i cancelled OB's so that i could move units around without his pesky scout noticing. If he accepts this offer i get a free 20gpt, and he cant see anything with that scout until id be in position to declare war... so UH... free money please? I also sent him a fish-fish but this time it means, "no hard feelings, but i need your land" Ah, AI diplo.

Small detachment to the western city of CivCalltoPower.. and the main stack will head down the middle towards Oregon Trail and his capital. I should have this war done around t140? 13-15t worth of moving units around i think. Plenty of chariots made incase he over builds axes, and AGG praets while not liking Korean catapults... have the sheer strength to take the low amount i expect from him without pause. If he holds up in a single city, ill throw my catapults at it, otherwise they will only be used to knock down the cultural defenses to give my praets much better combat odds.

Mhmm that power graph... I hope accepting MJMD's bribe helps convince him that i was just looking for more gold with this latest thing...

In such a good mood for once. Ill answer any questions you might have!

Which military techs does Mjmd have/ can he possibly reach while at war? What about some galleys for nice coastal raids (or threats of)?

I dont think he can make it to longbows in time to matter. His only relevant units are Axes which i still get good/decent odds on... and his UU. Are you talking his galleys? Im not too worried... no real avenue for him to sneak one in.. However, I do have one filled with 2 chariots incase he gives me a good opening on a city of his.

I dropped the hammer this turn, grabbing the 2nd half of the turn as well. Couldnt have really planned this much better than that. Well.... other than wishing i had one more turn to move my units... but that risked Mjmd figuring out my deception and whipping accordingly. There is a small chance that i take a city next turn, but i miscalculated how great chariots would be attacking a fully fortified axe on a hill in a city with 45%+ defenses... Only 30% sadly.

My main stack is in Chevy Corvette right now, but the highlighted stack will be the one that should take Oregon Trail either next turn with a TON of luck, or the turn after.

he is headed towards music, and would need to go thru Monarchy-Fued to get anything that would stop me quickly..

That stagnated power graph is music to my ears.

Started out today in a real shit mood. Working the worst route at my office, having to drive a van instead of the LLV ( yay air conditioning, bad movement ) had to skip breaks in order to not have so much overtime today, and then ended up having overtime anyway.. Then i get home and bite into a pizza roll and get a stabbing toothache due to having really really bad teeth.

So when i logged in today to pb51 i was thinking it was going to go the same way. Maybe Mjmd whipped everything down and stuffed his city with axes + has a STACK of Hwaches just outside of the city ready to hit me.

What i wasnt prepared for, was this:

Won 2/3 30% fights. 1 of them killing a Hwacha that he left in the city for whatever reason, and the other killing an axe.. the 3rd one? Oh, it ALMOST killed the axe. leaving it basically DoA and he should just retreat it and heal it up otherwise its free exp. If Mjmd doesnt move a spear into the city next turn ( or whipped one in? ) i think ill capture it. If that happens, my entire stack will move into Oregon Trail and then proceed to head towards his capital.

While this is all going on, i have a 2nd stack that will start bombarding the defenses of a VERY nice city on the western border. So... things are looking up!

The only thing that could bring me down about this pitboss.. well 2 things: 1: Lazteuq has maces, and attacks me with them. That would hurt alot, and id make sure he has no chance of winning this game if he does that. 2: Plemo gets pissy about me not giving him free $$ via trade routes and other random resource deals that he has tried to get me to agree to like loans and shit.. like how dumb do you think i am buddy?.......... dont answer that. Anyway, he gets pissy and uses the Dutch's UU (lol i know right) to raid my coastal cities while El Grillo does... El Grillo things? Idk.

Questions? Being that war is here, ill try and post each turn unless SOMETHING comes up.

A good start! Here come the questions: Do you plan to build more catapults soon? (wink) How about the other border in the north and how does Lazteuq react?

Yep! My two front line cities will be pushing out another 2 catapults each as i will eventually lose the ones i currently have.

So far, lazteuq seems to be letting me do my thing.. But i do have my tech path set to Longbows just as a good deterrence vs his maces. Im hopeful that he sends his growing army east into Persia lands, and we can both late-game try and take on Plemo.

Also... Man, im starting to feel bad for Mjmd:

I won a couple low odds fights, but sadly... he STILL HAS 1 UNIT LEFT IN THE CITY. ARGH

Power graph shows that this will eventually be a win for me, just depends on if i get my usual RNG, or if i get this pitboss's RNG...

Lost 1 Praet out of all that.. Very nice. Also thats 2 Hwacha's killed so far that could have been in a stack somewhere... Kinda weird to be defending with them considering they arent benefiting from the MASSIVE defenses his cities have.. but im not complaining.

This is the battlefield when i went to logoff. I give his city on the left 2t till it falls, and most of that is catapult timing. Oregon Trail should fall next turn unless he can stuff it with ALOT of units? Either way, i hope it falls so i can stuff my stack in there.

I will try very hard, to no longer complain about RNG.

My chariots are nigh-invincible.

My economy? Eh.... it will get better once i capture all these juicy whipped cities from Mjmd.

Who needs economy when im rocking these guns?

Video where this is referenced:

Considering im playing Shaka of Rome ( fairly sure i havent shared this yet.. )

Chariots killed 2 axes. The highlighted stack is there to grab the city on the right. It also neatly cuts off some of his reinforcements. The scout is a nice little trap if he wants the free kill, ill win the hammer exchange. That highlighted stack can also kill whatever he potentially uses to kill the chariot(s)

Seeing that it looks like he wants to move all of his units to his capital for a final stand or something... i decided to cut him off. Also killed another axe where that chariot is. God i love these chariots. Next turn i think ill bombard again and then start sending in the praets. I might lose a couple, but this city produces alot of units and needs eliminated.

Next round of cats are popping soon.

Think his best option is either continue to hold out in all the cities till i bombard down, then retreat.. or try and send EVERYTHING past me to cause me some trouble? Looking rough.

Another city captured.

t135 for another city, and t136 for another one unless he magically has 50 axes in the fog.

SimCity is the city that will be captured in 2t. He is guarding it with an Axe + Hwacha. could only get 27% with the chariot vs the hwacha.. so its going to wait a turn.  He left a city completely blank, and i sadly dont have a chariot over by my main stack, so i cant capture the city next turn. Annoyingly, he still has an axe + spear in the city that my galley + 2 chariots is waiting to hit. Vanrober kept accepting my Copper/copper deals but hasnt been acting on them, which im both thankful for and kinda annoyed by.

His capital has 5 axes last i saw/remembered with my scouting chariot + 1 spear. And all of his hwachas are missing currently. I believe if i recall correctly, he should have 2-3 somewhere behind his capital right now. Possibly more considering i havent seen what his backline cities have been producing, but he doesnt seem to have enough hitters for pure Hwacha production to make much sense.. Slightly worried that ill get up next to the capital and he will swing that army north and recapture the double wheat city. But if he does that ill be right behind him and he cant get far... so i have no clue what his best move is atm.

MJMD, i do apologize for this war. France teched Maces FAR too quickly, and seems to be ramping up to hit persia, so i would have ended up in a 2v1 most likely.. I didnt really notice the power graph + maces until after i had sent those deals to you.

Lurkers, my plan is to finish eating MJMD and then consolidate via whipping courthouses/ect and then either tech to knights, or maybe eat Vanrober? Knights are something id like to have, but i also need to help El Grillo take down Plemo before too long. So i sent him a copper/copper/fish/fish deal to signal such. ( i also saw a galley of his that could raze at least 1, maybe 2 of my decent coastal cities... ) Im not above marching a praet stack halfway around the world PB2 style to smack someone who opportunistically razes a city of mine wink

Any questions? Comments? I found out that Lipton made Green Tea Watermelon flavored, and MAN is it good. 10/10 would recommend.

MJMD had a couple more hwacha than i was expecting. Then after they attacked he got a bunch of withdraws which seemed rather unlikely. THEN he had nothing but 30-65% fights with axe vs praet and won every single one of them. Hm. That kinda bites. He can attack again this next turn and probably kill 1-2 more praets? I HOPE thats all, as i have a good chunk moving up and with his hwacha's spent, and his other cities falling (4th one captured this turn + Parthenon ) i dont expect him to have much more coming. Going to be a bit more of a slog for the capital than i was wanting.. but thats fine in the end. Ill post the combat/ect if people want to see it, but its honestly just depressing.

Some nice pictures of the newly conquered cities would be very appreciated! And if you don't mind, an overview around your main stack. Your attack seems to breeze through the land.
