I feel like not awarding WW for winning and decay after 15 turns regardless of war-state would be welcome, but both together might be too much? Worth a try though. IMHO.

I support all of what T-Hawk said.
Yes to making it independent of war/peace Yes to making it last past an opponent's elimination. In return let it decay exponentially, and fast. Just reduce the total WW you have with each player by 10% +- x every turn, no matter if there was fighting during the turn or not (can't stop an enemy's WW from decaying by suiciding random warriors). Then reduce to 0 at a threshold. That way the opposite of what Mjmd complained about happens - a blitz war with lots of fighting and conquests in a few turns generates a lot of WW, while a drawn out war has the WW bursts decaying before they overlap. I think making successful fights not add to WW does not help us if the purpose is to reign in a runaway. On another note, would it be feasible to update trade routes every time a road is built?
I will have a look at what exactly can be done with WW on a code basis
Regarding trade routes updating with roads. That is doable, but it might hurt performance in a bad way. Updating the trade routes involves iterating across almost all tiles of the map for each city. Doing this for every road might be a bad idea

How about changing the Forum to +34% GPP, so it gives 1 for every specialist? Right now rounding kills a lot of its effect. Rome gets picked a lot, but from the results it doesn't seem OP

I agree that it's awkward on points, but I find the change to minor to include it. I know that some people want to keep the changelog as small as possible.
Yes, Rome was picked often. 6 times now behind Khmer and India (or Mjmd as I like to call that civ ) Of these games we saw: 1 Glorious victory in PB55 1 Good position in PB56 2 Elimination in PB58 2 Ungoing games, which I can't comment on. I don't see that much reason to change something with Rome. On a totally different note. I notice that a lot of discussion to different topics have started in the last weeks. At the same time these discussion abruptly end, because new topics arise. Would it be helpful if we start multiple threads to each topic to order the discussion?

Worth a try. Though I suspect discussion will die anyway.
One thing I'd like to see too are the RtR workshop changes. That's a somewhat significant change to base BTS but would be good for balance. I never understood why early workshops need to be so terrible in vanilla.
I had a look at the different topics and for the most part I feel like I know what to do there. At the same time some have noticed that I tested my moderator tools a bit and unfortunately due to forum bugs, I am a bit limited there (I can split threads, but not posts for example).
I will start some new threads for more specific discussions.
