Looks like Krill declared on Azza LAST turn, which explains some of his logging in shenanigans this turn (he had to wait for Azza to play). Also explains Azza's 3 whips this turn

Commodore took another city (Mingo Junction) from Cyneheard - the 'herd is down to 5 cities at this point

I requested World Map trade from Krill. I noticed he has 87gpt at what might be max tax. He also shows Metal Casting as his research, due in 32 (which is why I assume it's max tax)

Finished up the turn here. We are last to play, so turn should roll.

I hired an engineer at Celebrity Jeopardy to get the market this turn - with 23 Christian cities that's nearly 6g we'll get there. I took it off the clams and gave those back to Church Lady, which will now grow this turn as well.

For new builds, I put OTOF on a temple, BB on a cat, and something on a barracks. In fact, 5 of our 11 cities are working on military builds!!!! 6 if you count a forge!

For the record, this turn (T159), Krill has 73 EPs on us (we have 150EP on him)

We finally meet Scooter

And while in game I noticed that we have City Visibility on our former city of Crazy Plant Hand



So that lets us see that Krill is indeed running max tax (90gpt - compare to our 139gpt) and his economy is indeed in a world of hurt (check out that City Maintenance )

Which is not surprising given the size of his empire. Also not surprising will be his eventual dominance once he gets [strike]Courthouses[/strike]Sacrificial Altars up everywhere and everything all improved.

Our only hope is tech embargoing

One thought that I had is that we could declare war and offer peace to Krill - just to "lock" in 10t of peace. I think it's probably a bad idea, but I considered it.
