The border and tactical situation sound really complex; I feel like I need a new overview of unit locations just since last turn! (For instance: Did his Horchers just join that X-bow+Sword+Axes stack on the jungled hill, or did they all advance somewhere? Is the "main production city" that he's threatening USA^3 or Hadru or something I'm missing? And how far out of Gorbachev did your Numids move?)
His HA's are on the jungled hill, the axes/ect moved forward.
USA/x3 is the main production city.
I moved the numids 2 tiles out. Can reach every tile they need to without any issues.

Cool; thanks for the update! I think I've got a good picture of the tactical situation now; should be interesting turns ahead!

I ended up getting better odds than i would have thought
This is his current stack that could at anytime, make a move towards/attack the mids city. I need more crossbows/archers to actually utilize the 50% defense. He doesnt have enough cats to bombard and then collateral.
This is what is left of the stack that invaded my territory. I assume he will pillage the mine/road possibly all of them and then delete the units. OR attempt to suicide them into my units, OR retreat. Either way, all these units will be gone by the end of next turn.
Here is the combat log One of the catapults ALMOST killed/basically killed the crossbow making it no longer the top defender, and thus giving all my units easy kills. My goal was to eliminate the threat of the HA's, and i was able to collateral them down where my Numids could get decent odds.
This all makes me feel MUCH better. I can still probably lose the mid's city, but Gavagai down another 2 cities, and soon to be another 1-2 cities.. and having just lost his HA stack, i dont have to fear my Cats being flanked away, or any other annoying things. If Amica and Naufragar get into another heated debate about who has the bigger dick, i might be able to pull something off.

Curious if i have a bigger sharkfin than that on next turns graph.
If Commodore hadnt gotten peace with Ginger, i probably would have directed more units into a 2nd stack to start applying pressure on a Ginger city.. (or maybe not, Gavagai has enough power to warrant more units)
Now, sadly Gavagai DOES have a GG medic, so his stack will heal and be all sorts of fun again. However, ill be ready for round 2 around the same time and without a stack of HA, i can leave the mids city under-guarded without much worry. I pillaged a Dye tile of his, so i hope that hurts his mega-whip economy a little bit. I do plan on making a GG medic of my own with my current medic spear. His forces mostly consist of Crossbows, so it should never be a defender. Especially because his WE's should be attacking/defending against mine and vice versa. At least i would hope so. ALSO ALSO, he chopped the forest cutting defenses there by 50%. SOOOO, when my force is fully healed in 2-ish turns i will be moving forward. Worst case scenario, i have another high production city working on building a stables so i can build more 2promo numids for forking purposes and also for when i eventually hit knights which once im at peace shouldnt take anymore than 20-25t to reach.
Sent Nauf this. BASICALLY hoping to show that im absolutely fine with him taking Alexander II (and i included Atbash to show im fine with it because it connects there/ect and so that he couldnt just hit accept and screw me outta my gold/ect) But trying to show that i dont want him to go any further than Khruschev. While it would be nice for Gavagai to have less whip potential, i dont want to ONLY get the capital, and the other border city for my hard work. I really want the Corn/gold city and thus, also get access to the clam/iron city to the south of it.
(clearer picture of everything)

Im building wealth to get Engineering which should protect me from any knights, as well as giving me far more movement to defend my horrendous mountain/hill terrain combo.
As soon as engineering is done i will be swapping to Rep/Caste and growing as many cities as i can. I think i have enough army to stop any 1 invader, and i doubt Amica attacks me while Nauf can come back before he makes any meaningful gains. Ginger's knights dont scare me, and even with him in power, so not scared there either. Nauf/gavagai war is going as planned, and it looks like Gavagai will have alot of his forces trying to protect/reclaim the southern cities, allowing me to potentially sweep in with Numids and capture his capital/other city if he leaves them undefended enough.

2t from Guilds. As soon as i have it im swapping to PS and slavery. (boy doesnt that sound like a great RL combo) Nothing but knights will be whipped ASAP. I "should" be able to break a stack of Ginger's with enough knights, If Commodore can hold some of his units at bay on the otherside, i think i can hold the mids city? At least the first wave if he doesnt whip in 9turns and then GO. If not, ill be kicked outta PS, which will suck but ill still be able to make this a very blood affair.

Can.. we just have this game end with a 3-way tie? Ginger/Amicalola/Naufragar?
