1. i'm open to anyone joining in the variant as long as they follow the rules.
2. Needing a clean break is up to the person who left. I honestly wouldn't excommunicate someone who left the guild if I liked gaming with that person. If the person caused a lot of drama while in the guild/alliance then I probably would not associate myself with him.
3. I'd feel no tension gaming with them unless I didn't like them already.
4. I think everyone can make their own decision about this.

I will be damned the day I let anyone dictate who I can or cannot play with. I would probably not play with the one who tries to tell me so. As long as the rest of the team have no personal problem with such people, it would not matter who they are and where they came from, or what they have done.

I'll add my agreement to what FoxBat, Seijin, and KoP have said - belonging to the Alliance isn't, and shouldn't be, a pre-requisite to playing on the LoL team. So long as we all get along, anyone who wants to join in is welcome.

I've been trying to decide what elite skills to cap with my precious (and small) allotment of Signets of Capture. And not having much luck deciding. So I wondered if you guys had any strong opinions.
For our PvE team, some likely ones available to us now would be the Avatars of Balthazar (helping Aravis with tanking), Melandru (improving survivability) and Dwayna (again improving survivability). Grenth seems more suited to PvP, and so does Lyssa.
Later in the game, Ebon Dust Aura would seem to be really useful.
Any suggestions regarding which to go for?

Based on my limited experience I'd probably rule out melandru... condition immunity doesn't seem that important when there isn't a whole lot of blind or traps in NF (minus the occasional SF djinn), and you can probably outheal what conditions do show up with dawyna's, not to mention the expensive cast. I'd only think it might be worth it if you have wearying strike. Balth's holy damage is brutal against undead, although those only show up for a short part of the campaign, the speed boost is nice and the armor is all you need vs things that don't ignore armor. However I think the armor boost will make you a lower priority target for enemies searching for squishies. Dwayna's may only really comes into its own later in the game when the margonite necros like to spread hexes everywhere esp. faintheartedness, although this is a significant and (more) difficult part of the game. I guess I would edge towards dwyna especially if you have some spammable skills, but either seems helpful.

Honestly, I rarely used the forms with my dervish. I don't know why. I could usually out heal most dmg with my monks and conviction (added defense) and mystic regen. Of course I don't know if you can pick those up using the LoL rules.
When I did use the forms, I used Dwayna or Balthazar for healing/hex removal or more armor/speed because the critters do run around a lot more than before.
For Scythe Mastery I've used Reaper's sweep which can cause Deep Wound if the target is below 50% health along with extra dmg to your attack.
I haven't used Ebon Dust Aura, although it does seem very useful if you have an ebon weapon or use an enchant to let you do earth dmg. I'd probably want an ebon weapon. And I have used Vow of Strength on Melonni which is sometimes interesting.
I'm trying to decide what to cap with my ele.

As far as PvE goes, I've rarely used the avatar forms. Most of my time has been with either Vow of Strength or Wounding Strike, although neither is really needed when Wearying Strike is readily available. Using Melandru's form to spam Wearying is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, Ebon Dust Aura was made available long after I had moved on to other characters, so I haven't had a chance to experiment with it. I don't see it as being overly useful for PvE though, since you're going to want to hammer down on the casters as much as possible and leave the warriors to chase the kiting mid-backline.
Hexes are very prevalent in the later game (as they have been in every campaign) so having self hex removal will definitely be a plus, but I don't know that it's a neccessity.

Hi! Long time member of KKoP here. My GL, Aravis, has been telling me how fun this is, and that I should get involved. I made a Dervish, and spent the last week or so getting to level 19, all the collector armor from the Bog, and following all the rules and guidelines of LoL. I was kept up to date on how far you all got and have finally caught myself up. ( I think) Is it possible to join the team or has that ship sailed? Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard.
Progress report: We finished Venta Cemetary and made our way through Centaur Blackmail. When we meet next week we'll start with Kodonur Crossroads and see how far we make it.
As for the option to choose Margrid or Whispers, it's only a 2 mission difference, so if some people want to do one and others do the other, that's fine. I checked Wiki and in order to go through the mission for the hero you don't have (i.e. picking Margrid and doing Rilohn) you must first finish the mission for the char you did pick (beating Pogahn, for example). We've been having enough attendance so that I don't think it'll be too much of an issue if people want to go different routes. Right now I'm leaning towards Margrid (being a paragon and since I chose Sousuke, it would be nice to have a ranger hero, though that doesn't really matter) but at the same time Whispers has some fun missions and it might be interesting taking on the Drought without Broad Head Arrow.

Tonight's Progress: We beat Rilohn Refuge and Moddock Crevice (and got master's on both!). Granted, we did Pogahn and Moddock last time, but due to a communications error Aravis and Seth were left behind so we caught them up (and took the alternate route).
Next week we'll go through to Tihark and possibly beyond, depending on everyone's times for that, though it shouldn't take too long.
Also, I think it'd be good if we could all use Vent from now on, since we have the server thanks to Serp.
