T13 in, and since Lewwyn played again there's a chance I might see the turn a third time later today
. Like I said, I moved southeast to see if there was seafood at the invisible pasture.
Well yes and no. Good to see fish down there but no fish to go with that pasture which means if there IS horse there, it'll likely be a foodless horse. I have two choices here - I can go south onto that plains hill and continue heading along the west bank of that body of water, or I can head east and scout the land south of Holocene. First choice lets me cover more ground, second choice lets me cover more relevant ground. Probably going with the latter which means I'll likely move NE next turn. My retreat continues in the north:
Took the picture so we could note that the body of water there is indeed a lake. I think we knew that already from Lewwyn's land, but just in case. The scout is NW of Lewwyn but if you try to imagine like it's the land to my west, this picture is more interesting:
(for reference: that lake that says "freshwater" and that gold are the same as in my last picture)
So just west of that gold is an ocean that contains crabs... and LOL at the farmed Oasis. That's actually a solid tile. I'm noticing that this land in general is very diverse - there's a lack of big splotches of grassland... This is actually kind of nice - as I don't see that many mega cottage cheese cities which helps keep the Financial guys in place... Though I guess the abundance of water tiles does help them a bit. Anyways, just thought it was worth mentioning. The capitals:
Brian Shanahan grew to size 5 and Commdore remained at size 3. I think we can now confirm Commodore has been working on a settler and Brian opted to keep growing. Serdoa has probably been working on a settler too. Demos:
And because I'm at the end of this report and have forgotten to paste the picture in as of yet, here's the capital chugging along.
Hoping for a third turn sometime today!
