Bad luck with our scout. Now we know the direction for the warrior. I think we might want to slot in another scout somewhere for finding our neighbors quicker maybe as a first build in city 2 while waiting for pottery.

I think one warrior must go to SW to explore the passage. I think thr closest neighbor is right after the passage, so we need to establish front city there ASAP.

I also think we must focus our expansion around the small area with coasts and do not throw Colossus. We need to achieve base economics goals before we decide to kill it by planting widely to the place with no rivers and coasts.

Not much I can report without scout. Farm is done, 9T to Bronse Working. Warrior is out in 3.

Soon we will have to decide on settler/worker order, but not yet. Probably we'd better save some chops in cap if it is possible.

Sounds reasonable.

Coast will be important for our economy in one way or other and it is very helpful to find the seafood so it definitely needs scouting attention. I think one warrior to SW and one to SE would be about right. Growing the city to 4 pop on warriors might be the prudent choice.

I played one more turn since that screen. There is no passage to the southwest. What exactly spot you like? I dont know where to plant without spoiling something. To southwest from sheep may be?

Nw of sheep looks juiciest, three food resources and a forested hill. It still leaves space for a city north of rice that shares sheep.

3 food and 2 flood plains in the first ring. Isnt that too much for the beginning? Also 1 watermillable flood plain is spoiled forever.

I stepped on that hill and there is literally nothing behind, only ocean there is.

Orange dots creat really nice city on incense for Collosus.

Yellow dots supposes that we plant #2 (near the sheep) and #3 (near the deer) almost at the same time so we will have a fish to share and one personal food and 2 flood plains once we pop borders.

Also yellow dots focus on 2 hammer hill city placement which is very hammer/food effective.
