Well, more than half the country thinks that everything is ok and there's a triumph of democracy and we can just get what we want if we vote hard enough. The republicans have, however, embraced realpolitik and win, to the detriment of the continued existence of our earth.

In other places, they don't pretend that true neutrality exists. Secular values come first, after that any religious stuff that doesn't conflict is allowed.
Best example would be a judge. They are meant to be impartial and neutral, so should they be allowed to wear a hijab. I'm definitely not conservative, but in this case I would argue: No they should not be allowed to wear anything that is in conflict with that neutrality.

I'm trying not to post in that thread, and it's starting to be a general phenomenon among the First World.

'Biden and the establishment cheated against Bernie twice!'
later
'Things would be fine if not for the republicans!'
That's all I have to say that is polite.

Did I say things would be fine if not for the republicans? If you can't tell, the first part of what I said is pretty obvious sarcasm and laughing at the liberal mindset. But things under the republicans can get a lot worse.
And yes, the democrats ran fraudulent elections, and these elections happening right now are no less fraudulent.

Yes, it is. Because the other side is running dozens of concentration camps on the border and rallying right-wing militias and terror groups to enact their political will. So I am willing to somewhat tolerate being screwed over by the democrats. Get off your high horse.
