That post in the tech thread by Donnovan kinda sounds like a Tas dogpile, doesn't it? "Backline" cities for Tas are probably the ones that Donnovan's going to hit. Spite whip?
Oh, other things in the event log, etc....
Tas made Peace with both Gavagai & Commodore
Tas declared war on Donovan
Then this turn, Commodore got both a Great Artist and the Economics Great Merchant....and kicked off a Golden Age. He immediately adopted Theocracy & Nationhood.

Can someone please expand on this/confirm what is going on? I need to know if I can/should start planning stuff with Mindy this morning based on the new actions of Tas. Is a reload a definite, or just something the lurkers/admin (do we even have an official admin) are debating? Is there even anyone left that would be able to/willing to replace Tas? At this point, I almost expect there not to be anyone left that is unspoiled.
We were already trying to come up with a way to use the diplo windows to try to buy some Galleons from Tas. Were not expecting to be able to buy his entire fleet, but anyone that is spoiled would know this piece of info so that would go against the AI-diplo rules because they would know the exact meaning behind the message I had sent last turn.

What!?! An end to the Tas rollercoaster ride!

Well I'm a little relieved that we don't have to make some highly questionable ethical choices. I was probably going to push HAK to SLAZE him for his dubious plays.
Zed, is it fair to ask that whoever takes over for Tas be directed to some key events such as the trade for Battle Island as well as the long-standing (if stressed at times) alliance?
And is anyone interested in re-loading to the turn before Tas massively swayed the game by getting his army annihilated? Of course, this has zero chance of happening. In my mind, that 2nd last Tas move and the subsequent Donnovan attack means that we're going to fail to contain MC since the pickings will be very easy to the north 10T from now.

I'd say that Tas understood that we wanted to buy boats.
So what would be the problem with a spoiled player also understanding the meaning?
