Micro note for Mai-Tai on T130:

The three workers south of the city should finish the farm 2S of Mai-Tai on T130, and the city should then work that tile to grow to 3. Then those three workers can finish the mine 1E of that on T131. Mai-Tai needs to be size 4 for a double missionary whip on T134. (If that turns out to be tricky, we can 1-whip the library to completion instead.)

Why the bare grassland in Caipirinha? Can't it work the grassland forest at least? And why do we need that desperately to grow in 4 turns?

(I haven't logged in so I may be missing something obvious).

The tile will be cottaged on T130. I didn't work those tiles on T129, I just changed the configuration and took a picture after ending turn, so we'll remember on T130.

That said, working the forest may be the way to go. That gives us 18 hammers, and on T132 we can work the grass hill instead of the plains cottage, for 24 hammers with the OR bonus. So 18+18+24 is 60, completing the forge in 3 turns and still growing in 4.

Forge in 3 sounds good meaning also earlier University.

I logged in and set GT to build culture, so it pops borders next turn and can net the fish. (And can give the corn back to WR.)

I also looked at EB, it has even lost its second ring tile 2E of the city to the combined third ring pressure from two TEAM cities. So maybe we should hurry up and pop its third ring? I hired two artists for now:




We could top that off next turn with something like 1 artist + build culture.

Or maybe it's a lost cause anyway, and we shouldn't bother. Feel free to change it back if you disagree.

EB Artists are ok. If we had to give in somewhere this a city that we can give up, but meanwhile it is good idea to try to gain some cultural ground and under Representation artists are ok.
