Seeing as the 3-way-splits seem to be over, would it make sense to return to the 24h timer, or am I too eager/hopeful?

These turns are long enough that I prefer every 1.5-2 days, compared to 1. It would start to feel like work instead of fun if we played much more. But I'm sure I can make do, if others share your sentiment.
