Personally, I'm not a huge fan of including modern countries like Australia or Canada as "civilizations" - it's not like they have different origins or even dramatically different culture from British civilization. The way they handled Greece is much more sensible - there's a Greek civilization, and different states are represented by different leaders, ie Gorgo for Sparta and Pericles for Athens. Why not make John Curtin and Mr. Canadian Prime Minister I've Never Heard Of into alternate leaders for the British? Thematically that'd make more sense to me. Do different civilizations, not different countries!
I also really don't care for the huge collection of stereotypes that is the Canadian "civ." The hockey rink bonuses all come way too late to matter - even later than Scotland's Golf Courses, the tundra bonus other people have pointed out is super lame, and the inability to declare war on city-states is crippling in Multiplayer (and another sign that they're going with national stereotypes rather than drawing inspiration from actual history), the Mounty is the most situational unit I've ever seen...And has anyone ever built a national park, out of curiosity? By the time I buy a Naturalist I can never find a damn eligible tile.

I've built one or two National Parks in games where it shaved a few turns of waiting for the Culture Victory to tick over, but yeah not a very impressive thing.
I too would like some more old civilizations, we still don't have Babylon or Assyria (only blob-Sumeria in the entire Fertile Crescent, for shame!) or Mali (my boi Mansa better make a return). Some alternate leaders for Rome would be cool as well, maybe someone with more character than boring old Trajan (Sulla perhaps )

I think that Mansa Musa is going to return with Mali. At civ fanatics forum before reveal of Hungary first civ of expansion, a list has leaked out with so far all civs correct and 2 of 3 leaders correct.
Hungary, Corvinius (got wrong leader leaked in first place, don't remember which)
Maori, Kupe
Canada, Wilfrid Laurier
Mali, Mansa Musa
Ottomans, Suleiman
Sweden, Christina
Phoenica/Carthago, Dido
Inca, Pachacuti
And 9th leader is Eleanor of Aquitaine for England or France (likely England since redcoat UU do mention only availabe with Victoria leaderhead).

Well neither of the two would make thematic sense in reality, because neither Curtin nor Laurier had much influence on the motherland. For a Canadian leader of the UK go for Bonar Law, and for an antipodean your best bet would be either be Jan Smuts or Cecil Rhodes.

The leak in question has been correct on all accounts so far.
There was another leak by a supposed Hungarian translator, that got the Hungary with another leader, but also included a Burmese and a Aboriginee civ.
So that leak has been dismissed.

Rock Bands? Now they have gone over the deep end.
Is anyone else playing the game like the devs do? Make wars to take 1 city and play until modern?
I am getting kinda frustrated.

The same people who actually like V better than IV or VI: Redditors
(Edit: to clarify, liking V over one of IV and VI is understandable [though I disagree]. Rating it higher than both is nanners)
