Shoot is not interested in helping Dave.

I agreed with Darrell that we'd halt Apollo immediately, and that we'd finish the Fusion race now (which he will most likely win) since we both have built up research overflow which is part of the race.

Also, no space elevator, no overflow into Apollo when we resume the race, and we build the Internet for denial, so Shoot doesn't get any clever ideas.

...and then we figured, let's just go all out war mode, and we can replay from turn 163 with AIs controlling Holland and Turkey to decide on the winner.

So yeah, forget about the space race, we're mobilizing! Grab the Fusion engineer, rush Pentagon, adopt Police State, Vassalage, Caste System, State Property and Theocracy, and build 10xp navigation II ships everywhere. Darrell diverts to stealth and builds stealth bombers, and we both build marines.

Does that sound like fun to you, Spaceman?

So, digging out last turn's save.

Dave hasn't got Electricity, Biology, Flight or Artillery.

We don't have Flight, but we do have the rest plus Rocketry, Industralism, Plastics, Radio, Refridgeration, Computers and Superconductors.

His MFG is king, helped by those dikes, but ours will be boosted by workshops everywhere, plus Police State will help.

Dave is in HR/NH/Slavery/SP/FR

Power-wise, we have 0.91m vs Dave on 1.13m and darrell on something like 1.26m. It doesn't look too bad but our modern army/navy is as follows:

6 machine guns
2 destroyers
1 transport
3 airships

No wonder he declared.

I changed our wealth builds to Marines, which can be whipped if we spend a turn in slavery at some point. Still finishing up Factories, and started a few Nuclear Plants. Had to keep some research capability this turn so we could finish up Fiber Optics and bulb Fusion next turn. Adopted Organized Religion. Pillaged our coal - Cash Cow will still be able to build one turn battleships.

We'll have Pentagon eot166, so I guess we should start in earnest on t167.

I was planning to whip some of that infra, get rid of some useless specialists that only consume happy and health.

Started the Pentagon and researched Fusion. I think that's as far as we'll bother to tech, I guess we can get Medicine and Genetics at a snail's pace.

Next turn I think we can adopt Police State and Slavery, rush Pentagon, and whip some infra. Then whip military on t167, and adopt PS/Vassalage/Caste/State Property/Theocracy. That should give us 6xp/9xp land units and 10xp naval units starting eot167.
