Being on an arena hot streak feels really good, I have to say. Despite a very sub-par rogue last night, my last six arenas (across two servers) have gone 12, 9, 7, 11, 3 and 12 wins.
The latest 12 was a paladin deck that seemed fairly unremarkable - 2 consecrates (although crucially, an equality with them!), 3 truesilvers, a single Hammer of Wrath (MVP against a Warrior on 10 wins for taking out a wounded Baron Geddon) and lots of high quality minions. Three times in the run I had an enemy play a Divine Shield minion into my Blood Knight, which I'm fast coming to the conclusion is one of the very best epics in Arena, particularly for Paladins. Even when it doesn't hit, it's a nice solid 3/3. If you have any sort of Divine Shield in your own deck, it's often worth it, because DS minions are a priority pick in Arena, and your opponent is very likely to play a couple.
Uber, I love the Questing Adventurer into brews and stealths. Getting a combo like that to work in Arena is an awesome feeling.
And a fun image, from the Rogue run. He took the face damage by hitting it with the Truesilver in the end, but I considered it a minor Chicken victory.

congrats! I had a 2-2-1-3-3 streak recently which felt horrible (it's annoying when all the enemy decks seem to have much better drafts, but happens sometimes I guess) but at least broke it. also I've never been able to get the chicken to do anything, haha.
Blood knight is insanely good. In constructed too, argent squires are infesting the ladder.
A few other cards I think are underappreciated (agree on blood knight but it's generally rated highly even in constructed.)
Stranglethorn tiger. Especially in Mage where it prevents the safety play of trading most of the board before Flamestrike goes online. Kills yeti. Can't be immediately sniped the turn after it's played by dark iron dwarf on a 3/2 or 3/3.
Frost elemental. Great in even board situations where both sides have 1 creature. Makes it hard for them to trade.
War golem. The difference between 6 and 7 mana in arena is not that serious. It'a a slightly more expensive ogre that beats ogre in a 1v1 so it's not that bad.
That 2/7 turtle in any deck that runs buffs. Good at cleaning up 3/2, 1/1, totems. Good at sticking around to be buffed into something really annoying.

I figure I'll wait to open a few more playable legends and epics before filling in.
I was at 2500 dust and cashed most of it in on epics. Eventually a third ancient of lore will pop and I will have wasted 300 dust, but in the meantime I can play something (almost) resembling a competitive druid deck. At some point the lost opportunity to play with the cards is worse than the risk of wasting dust. But if you desire the more expensive builds like control warrior I suppose that point may be later rather than sooner.

I agree on tiger, I think it's really good. Not sure about Frost Elemental - generally I think freeze in Hearthstone is usually a very expensive way of not killing stuff, and it's certainly expensive on the Frost Elemental. Is 2/1 worse than an Ogre worth the freeze effect? Not usually, IMO. But it's situationally very good.
War Golem - as a counter to Ogre, as you say, it works very well. Generally though I think it's outclassed by Stormwind Champion in most cases.
Totally agree on the Snapjaw. It's one of my favourite cards to use well. Anything that gives it a +1/+1 or a taunt makes it very useful indeed. Most of the time, health is more important than attack value on minions (except if there's a huge disparity - hello Mogu'shan) and a 3/8 or a 4/9 is a monster, often trading 3-for-1 with high-quality creatures.
A couple of other favourites of mine: Darkscale Healer, Cult Master (although universally recognised as really good, I think it's really REALLY good), Abusive Sergeant.

Those are frustrating, I hope you pull out of it soon. I feel like lately for me it's been get to 4-1 or 5-0 and then lose 3 straight. The latest was having a shaman use ancestral healing, ancestral spirit, and faceless manipulator.... on a harpy of all things. I was just dumbfounded wondering "How can I be losing to these awful cards?" (Well, obviously not the faceless, but what he used it on...)

Well I just mean those cards are underrated, not necessarily top picks - I agree stormwind champion is better than the golem. Darkscale healer has actually annoyed me several times by messing up planned trades (one strike against freeze as an effect, I guess, it lets enemies heal.) I agree the healer is quite good if you look at it as getting a yeti + paying 1 for a 2 point aoe heal (and playing Yeti + waste 1 mana on turn 5 is common enough anyway.)

Yeah - if you can get the Healer to hit 2 minions, which is quite often possible if you trade/hit before playing it, it can give you 4/9 worth of stats for 5 mana, which is really strong.

Funny card interaction:
Opponent hunter plays two traps, I attack with something, it gets Misdirected and the target cursor swings over to one of my other creatures, it attacks... only for Freezing Trap to fire and cancel the attack

Druid vs mage, arena
Both our hands are apparently clogged with spells we don't want to play resulting in a bunch of small plays and trades on turns 4-6. I have a 2/5 on board on turn 7. Then argent commander shows up and charges my 29 hp face (wtf). A highly suspicious play, as this is in 5 win bracket. I drop stormpike commando and kill his argent.
His play is explained next turn when he drops Antonidas + mirror image.
Unfortunately for him my cards in hand include Faceless + Naturalize + coin + power of the wild, mind controlling antonidas and drawing 3 fireballs
Mage places a Faceless too next turn, but will inevitably lose the damage race so plays Arcane Intellect and discards a couple of cards from overflow (two polymorphs show.) I fireball him twice and he shows Pyroblast on the last turn. Scary deck.
