Congratulations for joining the big league! I was also getting worried as that update got longer, that the title might be a bait and Kafa was going to drop dead first.

... so apparently once you become an Empire you lose the ability to submit to the Great Khan.  Did not realize that before. Guess it's death or glory for us Diskarkhans now.

Either sounds fun. Also, agree with what Sunrise said re: thread quality.

Seems that the crusaders haven't done very much, after that nice start with Queen what's-her-name ages ago. In general, it doesn't look like the AI is consolidating very much, which is a neat in a way. More interesting to have a constantly changing world. Is that (at a guess) more due to crappy AI like the Mongols, or constant rebellions and civil wars? One is definitely more interesting than the other.

I'll try to get somethign up this week.

To be honest, I was spending more time on writing reports than playing the game, so I'm going to try and pare the detail back a little. Especially since we've hit one of the big goals (turning Socotra into an Empire - and not just any empire but a custom one!).
