This is an odd composition. You get an extremely early Machinery (although hilariously late IW after), and you have a broken spear UU. Plus, you're protective. There is no reason not to mass a crossbow/phalanx mix, it's pike and shot in 500 B.C. And yet...

Plan is to whipsaw for a mass offensive:
1. DoW Ginger for a peace treaty with strong army threat.
2. Hit Amicalola's island, ideally take city with light galley forces while wrapping up Fuedalism.
3. Keep city until treaty while revolting HR/Vassalage and mass whipping longbows and catapults.
3b. Negotiate with Gav for coordinated Ginger hit.
4. Longbow/HA/cat attack looking to split Ginger with Gavagai.
4b. If too much resistance, offer peace for 40gpt.

Heh, okay bud, Ginger cut our road. He really is playing a different game from the rest of us, he's been getting events, did some quests (didn't take the HA reward because no power spike), just living a fun life down there. Imma smack him around just a little bit.
There's no technical wars right now, but Gavagai, Amicalola, and Naufragar have all been spiking this powers lately, while Ginger is slowly climbing organically and Superdeath flatlined. Bit of an interesting game here.
Current Rankings:
1. Amicalola: Ami's decidedly in the catbird seat right now, with an amazing fifteen cities now, his latest a resourceless city on the south of My Western Island. That should show what his weakness is right now, though; he's Protective with GLH and Bazars but his GNP has been looking a little soft, at least until this recent Golden Age. I wonder if he's been low on cottages, it's hard to discipline yourself into growing them on a natural map like this. I'm there too. Amicalola seems slightly checked out, his turns are faster lately.
2. Nowfrogger: Nhaofraogor has been painfully slow this game, unsurprising for a "claw out of the jungles" start, but he's finally coming into his strength a lot more. Darius is beautiful for this map of course, and Sumerian ziggs should have him even more efficient than otherwise. He's in a bit of a tight spot with his broad land borders with Gavagai/Amicalola but if he can manage the geopolitics he's going to be tech leader by turn 150 and remain so for the rest of the game. Lad just needs to be confident.
3. Ginger: Best tech, top army, winner of quests, solid geopolitics...why is Ginger not my top contender? Basically, cities. The lad missed his amazing window with that Machinery slingshot and neither managed to ally with Superdeath to eat Gavagai nor use up his whole army to wreck me. Now he's very strong, but his city count has him down in loser tier with me and Superdeath. He's also not slaving, maybe in Serfdom? Not a great deal for him, means his emergency slaving is weak and he can't get a huge army fast to capitalize on a neighbor war. These are overcomable problems, but his window is closing.
4. Gavagai: Ah, good ole' fightin' Gavagai. He's in a very Gavagai situation, having warred with all his neighbors, hostile borders, better MFG than research. He's got one very good asset in the Pyramids, and he can certainly generate some noise if he splits a neighbor. He and Ginger are going to swap places in twenty turns if something big doesn't happen.
5. Superdeath: It's SD. He's checked out, uncaring, just moved on to other games. GNP is excellent but Vicky on eight cities is just sad.
6. Commodore: I suck. My empire is tiny (although next turn I beat Ginger and SD in city count ), my economy is pitiful, my development sucks, my army is small, and my position is just boned. Still aim to have fun here, I was probably screwed from the beginning but I'm so glad for this game setup, it's a blast to try and do my best with the stuff I rolled.
