Popped GA and dry popped missionary for capital for Parthenon build. It will make getting GAs 3&4 much easier.
I am VERY glad I switched 3rd GA merchant to being produced from Braw Sailing. Put two merchants in there and put an engineer in WheretoGoJohnnies as for 2nd GA it doesn't matter. I'll probably switch it to spy after so whomever is lagging for 3rd GA can work an engineer.
While I WANT to work an engineer in Roots there are too many tiles to work around there! Even though that is my best city for sharing tiles its low pop itself atm and all 3 sharing cities were whipped recently.
I like 12 turn GAs because I don't feel QUITE as bad about whipping. I'm mainly whipping courthouses or forges, but a lot of cities will then just grow for rest of GA. Cities without natural production will just be courthouses. Oh and missionary whips for selected cities.
Something different in this diplo game vs regular multiplayer is I loaned Bing 200g so he could tech during his GA vs me using it to tech in mine. Between that, paying SD back, and Charriu payments stopping soon I won't have quite as much money to throw around.
The SD loan and Charriu payment was pretty key for getting, MC, CoL, and Mono though. Those are some nice key techs to have powered through.

I'm still debating what I want to tech this GA. Bing wants more money but I'll probably turn him down.
