This is nice because it's really the first bit of progress I've seem to be able to make since I had to whip that warrior from scratch way back when. 3rd in GNP and 3rd in Food. Seven is starting to run away in tech though. The good news is until recently he only had OB's with Jowy. I thought he had it with everybody except me. Now he's got them with Jowy and myself. He's a bit sandwiched in terms of available land so if I can keep him a buddy he'll have to go through Praetorians to get more which will be a while so he shouldn't be able to get too far ahead.

So lets get into some details shall we jive!

EOT 92 - Charlottetown:
The forge was just whipped and completed. Charlottetown will complete a Spearman destined for Ottawa on T93. Chances are I will not have my gold hooked up by EOT 94 so on T94 Charlottetown will start a worker at size 6. Should only take 3 turns max. After that I might let it grow or I'll get another settler out from here and then grow while building military. At max size I'll then probably build a library.

EOT 92 - Fredricton:
As you can see it just completed an axe. With the overflow and one turn working the grass/forest 1N of the city instead of a farm I can get enough hammers in 3 turns so that I can then triple whip a forge at size 7. This is what I will do as I don't believe I will have a worker back in time to chop that forest into the forge.

EOT 92 - Halifax:
I should be able to double whip this forge on T95. I was going to chop that forest into the forge but I realized I would have too many hammers to make it optimal so I'll chop it into the trading post as soon as the forge is done.

EOT 92 - Montreal:
The big problem here is the barb axe approaching from the south. It shall cause troubles with getting that gold hooked up. Not entirely sure how I'll proceed next turn as it depends on where he moves but as far as builds go I shall finish the trading post and then whip a forge at the earliest possible chance.

EOT 92 - Niagara Falls:
Marty has just killed a barb warrior, that's why he's out of the city. The granary will slow build and it should finish so that I get the full use out of it when I grow to size 5. After the granary it's onto a forge which should get double whipped after I put 2 chops into it.

EOT 92 - Ottawa:
Not much to see here at the moment as it's pretty squished. Workers unprotected on both sides of the Babylonian/Viking borders. I plan on roading the grass/hill/mine where the workers are located on T93. T94 and 95 they will mine the gems and T96 they will road them. They will then proceed to farm/road the sugar. This should allow me to slow build the granary at size 2 and max it's effiency by the time it's size 3. After the granary I'm not entirely sure of what I'll build here but most likely a Library to start on the culture push.

Not a lot happened as per T93. I basically roaded a few tiles and selected the builds I said I would...Some barb activity around Niagara Falls:
Shouldn't really be an issue.

Around Montreal is that silly Axe that could cause problems. As you can see I moved the worker from the gold to put a turn in a Quarry on the stone and roaded the cottage with the other 2 workers.

I played T94 this morning but didn't get time to take some photos. Nothing of real interest happened anyways. The barb warrior that was somewhat close to Niagara Falls went back into the fog and the axe close to Montreal moved 1N putting him 1W of the gold, 1SW of the quarry/worker. All 3 workers that were in the area went to 1SW, 1S of Montreal and put 3 turns of a cottage into the tile.

I was tempted to move Bobby Clarke out of Montreal onto the gold and see if the barb axe bites. It would be across a river, Bobby on a hill with Combat I and Shock so I figured I'd have odds but I was really uncomfortable with the possibliity of losing him so I kept him in Montreal. I had a spear complete at EOT93 so this turn it boarded the galley and moved to just outside Montreal so with the extra unit I should be able to get that axe if it comes inside my borders no later than T96.

Halifax had it's forge whipped and will overflow onto a Trading Post which will basically pay for the engineer I'm going to hire next turn! Charlottetown started a 3T worker and by then I'll hopefully have my gold hooked up so I'll grow to size 7 building an axe and then start a settler.

I don't think we're getting a turn in today and I replayed T94 and took a couple pics last night so I might get around to uploading them but I discovered something in the process that doesn't seem right. Any help somebody could provide would be awesome.

T94 Halifax has 33/120 hammers invested into a forge and is at size 7. I triple whip down to size 4 and the forge now shows 123/120 hammers. I am currently working a pigs, 2 clams and a plains/hill/forest for a total of 4 hammers. T94 my worker completes a mine which makes it 5 hammers of production and adds 30 hammers for a chopped forest. The display correctly shows my production as 35 and if I hover over it, it breaks it down correctly at 30 chopped hammers and 5 from base production. I then end turn and this happens.

The forge completes and I have 30 hammers of overflow.

Shouldn't I have 38 - 5 from base production, 30 from chop and the extra 3 that were in the forge from the whip?

I would love to get this sorted out so I might be able to replay that turn prior to the game getting going again tomorrow. It's not the end of the world to lose those 8 hammers but if I can recoup them I'd love to.

Are you switching to a unit and losing OrgRel bonus?

Normally, overflow hammers are adjusted back to base hammers, by removing production multipliers that were in effect for the previous build. So if you were in OR, 38 overflow hammers from a building would be adjusted back to 30 base hammers.

Are you in Organized Religion? I guess not, as your chop would then yield 37 hammers towards the forge.

Maybe this is a bug where the game thinks that the forge bonus was in effect for your overflow hammers, causing them to be adjusted back from 38 to 30 even though the forge was obviously not in effect prior to its own completion.

EDIT: Cross-post with Dave.
I have to run.
