As a French person I feel like it's my duty to explain strikes to you. - AdrienIer

Okee, we're still alive my friends. The story of the game in one graph:

With focus on the fundamentals, like growth and economy, this is what we have for demos, as of a couple turns ago. See also "A Demographic Example of What A Farmer's Gambit Looks Like".

On the plus side, it's basically infinity one-turn techs now. I don't want to cheat with the lowbie techs, but I think if I wanted I could swing about a dozen more turns of 1-turners. I'll feel happier once I can slip in Machinery and start massing CKNs for defense.

I think Mr. Kepler, rather than being laboriously set up for the historically-accurate Astronomy bulb, will plant an Academy in the soon-bureaucap of Shiny Australia. Heh, remember when this place was Beijing all those times?

My marble-grab gambit is three turns off, and the Great Library, MoM, National Epic, and Parthenon ought to all fall soon after. Others seem to be neglecting the marble islands.

I got impatient and I hate wasting worker turns, so Sunnydale is banking four chops now (seen in forest-form here a few turns back). Wealth: It makes your micro easy-mode.

I still have a couple forests in the Dollhouse, but I'm not sure what they'll get used for. Probably something boring like maces or CKNs. I really am terrified of getting called on this gambit.

Still planting cities, although note the obscene maint costs. CoL needs to be slipped in as soon as possible. Definitely looking into the Liberalism->Communism thing here. Unfortunately, I doubt Cheeta/Music/Sian are going to allow that much sandbaggery.

Stay tuned, let's see how these wonders go.

I start to feel a little bad:

C'mon back soon, Brick. Looks like we might get all these planned wonders...and then National Epic in the Great Library city.

Tomorrow, we get marble.

Unfortunately, so too does Slowcheeta.

On the plus side, Sian is the most deadly now.

Not so much anymore.

Brick, I'm going to leave you with the lead and a brewing dogpile:

Yeah, be extremely glad Sian manages to piss everyone off. Dogpile target ought to be pink:

So given Monotheism is dirt cheap, and Philo is but one desired bulb away...maybe completing the Paya, with all the negative diplomacy that entails, would be unwise. If so a courthouse wouldn't go amiss.

I think I took the whole "Cottage Economy" thing a bit literally. When these are all towns, this will be truly excellent land, but unless you can snag the Kremlin for cheap rushbuys you'll fall behind the SP workshops in this flat, flat terrain.

Also note Machinery. A couple dozen CKNs would do wonders for national security. The MoM is naked, just for one example.

Looking splendid. Um. Instructions/plans are simple; forges, courthouses, and more settlers. Chokunus.

It's on like Donkey Kong.

Azza is causing problems and I'm starting to feel my spirit soar towards the Warmongerer side, what with what my CKNs can do to an army of Axes and catapults.

I'll plan to get some screenies up after work, right not though it looks like I'll have 8-12 CKNs on the area when his 8 Axes & 8 Catties get there. Which with my collateral and first strikes should be more than enough. And in return for having to whip those maybe we can do take some cities ourselves. hammer

Also, I'm not just giving him Serenity Valley, but there's a chance he might take it before I get everyone up there. I'll be good to defend Sunnydale though no question. If you look on Commodore's map, he'll hit that spot between the furs and the corn on turn 102.

And actually, as can be seen in the diplomacy thread, I decided not to war and just get Azza off my back to keep teching.

I got a Great Artist for a golden age, and had that Great Scientist sitting around that I bulbed Education with, to get it in one turn with the GA. Liberalism should be here in 4 turns, barring any meddling. Music is the only other one with Education, but I feel fairly confident I can beat him.

After that, I plan to nab Nationalism and see how fast I can churn out the Taj, to keep this MoM-fed Golden Age train a-running. hammer

Silly Sian going and telling everyone of my plans *grumble grumble*

I wonder if I'm going to face any Sianese or SlowCheetonian aggression coming up. I think I'll find some common points towards the central of my empire to put some CKNs to be able to send them to any front if someone does show up.

Got Lib and Nat with it. Started on Taj, it's 9 turns in my highest hammer city. I just got Org Rel, and I'm settling a missionary there next turn. I have one forest to chop to add to it, and I don't want to lose the Taj. Slow got Nat a turn before I did, so he's my opponent. "She's giving it all she's got captain!"

Also, 2 more turns to guns, and I have drafting already enabled. Not a moment too soon either, My scout in between Azza and Sian lands spotted two Sianese ka-niggits.
