Okee, we're still alive my friends. The story of the game in one graph:
With focus on the fundamentals, like growth and economy, this is what we have for demos, as of a couple turns ago. See also "A Demographic Example of What A Farmer's Gambit Looks Like".
On the plus side, it's basically infinity one-turn techs now. I don't want to cheat with the lowbie techs, but I think if I wanted I could swing about a dozen more turns of 1-turners. I'll feel happier once I can slip in Machinery and start massing CKNs for defense.
I think Mr. Kepler, rather than being laboriously set up for the historically-accurate Astronomy bulb, will plant an Academy in the soon-bureaucap of Shiny Australia. Heh, remember when this place was Beijing all those times?
My marble-grab gambit is three turns off, and the Great Library, MoM, National Epic, and Parthenon ought to all fall soon after. Others seem to be neglecting the marble islands.
I got impatient and I hate wasting worker turns, so Sunnydale is banking four chops now (seen in forest-form here a few turns back). Wealth: It makes your micro easy-mode.
I still have a couple forests in the Dollhouse, but I'm not sure what they'll get used for. Probably something boring like maces or CKNs. I really am terrified of getting called on this gambit.
Still planting cities, although note the obscene maint costs. CoL needs to be slipped in as soon as possible. Definitely looking into the Liberalism->Communism thing here. Unfortunately, I doubt Cheeta/Music/Sian are going to allow that much sandbaggery.
Stay tuned, let's see how these wonders go.
