[SPOILERS] Novice starts improvising

T28

Timings for chopping the forest there would be quite good. Bit risky though if there is a wandering warrior coming. We could also delay settler for 1 turn and invest something towards warrior to be on the safe side and then the warrior could start mining copper immediately after settling.

I think the risk is acceptable. Revolt + whip is an option in an emergency.

Thanks for covering the turns, Plako. I'm back and played turn 29, starting a road and Fishing. Settler and Fishing due in 4.

Demographics reveal that someone has two size 1 cities. Top five cities show two others with size 4 capitals.

Turn 31, I've only moved the scout so far:

Massive production potential there. I think keeping original settling plan is still better. Close quarters so having access to copper could prove useful.

Yeah while a fish-for-food second city feels pretty weak, the corn site is even slower, with the second ring corn being irrelevant for its start. At least the copper is a six yield tile.

C&D shows opponents at sizes 3, 3, 3 (us), 4 and 4, and Serdoa at size 2. Krill is IMP and whipped an early settler it seems, having cities size 2 and 1.

I'm considering whether to go Pottery next or grab Mysticism first for a Stonehenge build in the fish/copper city. The fish/copper city would either go work boat-granary or work boat-stonehenge.

One size 4 capital was 2-whipped.

Turn 33 was spent chopping, moving the settler, and revolting to slavery.

The worker will be 1-whipped.
