Commodore gets attacked by Oxyphenbutazone so Commodore attacks Ruff_hi. That makes sense.

Okay, by the way, this is not how I'm going to win, hardcore durp there. All twenty-four cuirs should instead be on the eastern stage tile where the four are. pat

Oxy's played an excellent, excellent game, the only way to win is via tactical acumen and luck. Um, helpful hint...this ain't it.

For any body not with magic insight in to his head Commodore is talking about the west hill. It is covered with Ruff_Hi capital culture so even when he kills the city of Blue It Badly he will be stuck. Just long enough to give Ruff_Hi one more turn to reinforce the capital with pikes.

Victory! And the culture is mine, I was wrong! A great days for the Rustics, in all, city renamed "caterwaul".

...unfortunately, it was not really much (any) of a battle, because Ruff took the tactically sound option of retreating from my siege-light stack...

...and consolidating towards his critical capital. Well played, good sir, well played.

So now we're going to have a very dicey battle over The Big Blue; this is something I could win easily with time but futzing around isn't going to be an option. I'll see how the sims look, but this is a pretty grim battle place.

Here's the poor, tiny, whipped Rustic Folk. Last main chance, indeed.

...and now the next turn is in...

I'll win, unless he's got a road there...

...pretty sure he'll get a road there. cry

Or, then again, he could directly reinforce from elsewhere too. Pity; I'm not taking this.

...so all I gained for my ten lost cuirs? This little city. Which needs an Eternal Garrison.

That's game. Good job Oxyphenbutazone. thumbsup And good solid defending Ruff. nod

This was a remarkably passive game BTW. There can't have been more then 10 non scouting units dead before Oxy whacked my city.
