Okay, so with Mardoc hopefully finishing up the map soonish, we ought to decide now whether to continue running with v9 or switch to Qg's just-released v10 of EitB. I'm in favor of sticking with 9 on the grounds that we picked leaders with that version in mind, but Auric wasn't changed at all so I don't care too much either way.
A New FFH PBEM

for me its the same, although if people are playing other pbem game, they would have to save a copy of v9, and switch between games.
As Hyborem, I recommend you update
As a uninterested lurker, however, I would say its best to use the settings everyone had in mind when choosing picks and options - whilst most of the civs being played have not been changed, a lot of incidental changes have been made. If you all decide you prefer v10 then that's fine, but make sure you are all up to speed on the changes. Also, wait for 10.1 to bugfix the Disciple issue.

Yeah, v9 it is.
Kredom, it's actually fairly simple to switch between versions of a mod if you later decide to join a v10 game (actually, if you're okay with playing in two games at once, Lord Parkin wants players for a new FFH PBEM). I've done it before- just copy your current instal of EitB as a new mod folder, rename one of them, instal the latest version in the folder you didn't rename, and then depending on what version you want to play just rename one of the folders while restoring the other to the default mod name. |
