I believe we started in February. And that we have 6 months (?) in total? In mid May I'll have more time on my hands than I did when we began. I believe I could finish my remaining duels in the final 2 and a half months (starting in mid May).
In the mean time I will try to play duel turns when possible. Obviously for fairness sake the FFA I will play more quickly due to it involving more players, being under a different format, etc, so I do not expect for FFA 41 to slow down .... however the Duels may continue to be somewhat slowed (or halted) for about one month.

Kragroth, what are you talking about?
I have been able to (mostly) keep up with EitB39 and 41 for the past week- it's only the duels I haven't been able to keep up with.
For the record, here are the records for the EitB39 PBEM for the past week:
EitB39:
APR5- sent save in early morning (2 AM) did not receive save back at a reasonable time that night
APR6- missed my play window (but see APR6)
APR7- sent save before normal play window for other players, received e-mail without save that evening (from you)
APR8- received e-mail with save in morning, and sent on during normal play window in evening
APR9- missed my play window
APR10- sent save during normal play window
APR11- missed play window
APR12- will be sending save tonight, a bit late
As you can see, with EitB39 I have averaged 5 out of 7 play windows (this includes sending it on the next day before the normal play window) or 4 out of 7 where you don't count the one I sent early the next day. I have removed from the tally the day where you sent me an e-mail without the save attached. This averages better than a save every-other day no matter how you look at it...
As for EitB41, Tasunke has been absent for some time, messing up that count entirely (as I couldn't know when the save would finally arrive- yesterday morning as it happens). I received the save yesterday (but once again, Tasunke had been absent for quite some time, throwing everybody off) and will be getting back into the swing of one turn per day (or at least a bit more than every-other day) starting tonight.
As for the duels, the performance is variable. I've managed not far from a turn/day with Bob, but my turnaround with Aurorarcher has been much slower... (maybe a turn every 3 or 4 days) Mardoc has fallen at about a turn every-other day or so...
In short, perception and reality differ here. I haven't actually fallen nearly as far behind as you think with anything except the duels with Mardoc and Aurorarcher (I tend to play the duels furthest along first in a play session, and don't always get to the less advanced ones- plus Bob gets them back to me much faster, so I've managed 2/day some days bringing up the average...) which I'm working on....

Northstar, no offence, but hitting 4 out of 7 playwindows is *not* "mostly keeping up." A save every other day is not what I signed up for. If you think that's appropriate to have as your standard level of play, rather than a temporary state that passes, well, we're going to have some problems.

@Tasunke
The Tournament started on February 1st and Round Robin I ends on August 1st. Thank you for letting us know that you expect a slowdown for another month. Please let us know ahead of time if any other circumstances will hinder you in completing your turns. I do hope you'd be able to get back up to speed with your opponents, but that isn't always possible. My timezone differences with Grey Wolf for instance nigh guarantee that we'll get better than 1 turn / day. Regardless, it's really important that we try to find a sub for you so that you have the best chance of finishing your games naturally. I do not want to call games! Please assist me in finding a partner for your games.
@Northstar
For EITB 39 PBEM you did submit 4 turns in 7 days which is better than a turn every other day technically, but that's still not good and still not the standard I applied to FFA games. That was, a save returned within 24 hours which did not happen consistently. For FFH 41 PBEM you are correct that Tasunke held the turn for a couple of days. According to Tasunke, he held the save for two days before sending (he claims he forgot to email the tracker) to Sauruman who himself held it a couple of days. I took a screenshot showing that you took more than 36 hours to return it back again. (You only had one opportunity during the 7 days unfortunately, but it was still missed).
I spoke to Bob and he said that you and him had a minor blitzing. Out of 7 days, you only returned saves on 2 of them, but you managed to return 5 saves total. I'm glad that you and Bob were able to do a mini blitz, but in of itself the final result is still not good. We would have liked to see you send a turn every day AND you find a way to get a few blitz turns. And, you need to. Your games are way behind in timing. Auro and Mardoc both testify that you only returned 2 turns in 7 days with them which puts you even more behind.
So, let's be clear here. At this current rate, your 3 duel games are very unlikely to finish. If they do not finish, my judgement (which I would not want to make) would most likely be against you because of the lack of played turns during the Duel Period. This by default also means that your Round Robin II games would likely be forfeited due to time as well. This would be unfair to the tournament competition. 6 competitors would effectively get free wins while 5 would not.
So, if we can't find a way to speed up these turns and/or find you a partner, then I'll be forced to try to reschedule Round Robin II amongst the other opponents and eliminate you from the tournament. The spirit of the tournament is that people earn their wins and I must do what I can to minimize free wins.
Your FFA games are suffering as well and I cannot be deaf to the comments that I hear. I believe that Old Lion as a partner will help you be able to focus on your duel games more and get your FFA games turned in a more timely manner. I believe this is best for all. Please assist me in finding a partner for your duel games.

A general note to my current opponents; I'm heading on vacation on Thursday for 3 weeks. I will still be able to pick up saves, etc. but expect to have a lot less time/inclination to play while I'm away. I will play and send turns when I can, but will be prioritising my play time and most of these duels will be at the bottom of my priority list.

North, it is absurd to suggest that you and I are "not far from a turn/day". That you managed to pass a few turns back and forth with me on two days of the last two weeks does in no way make up for the fact that there have been multiple weeks since we began our duel where you did not send me a single turn. "One turn a day" does not equal "Play a few turns on one day and then average it upwards while you take the rest of the week off".

Hello,
I have no opinion regarding Northstar's rythm.
I'm ready to play any time, just provide me saves and password if it is decided so.
I'll use any opportunity to improve my gameplay.

I'll need his email to do it and I'll let you know if/when I have.
