As you can see, I am behind because I been negleting infrastructure because I had to fight so much. Just finished the first IZ of the world EOT and will start building settlers after civic change. Now the only way I can see winning is to conquer Arabia. Stage by moving horsemen with ram forward already. 5 HC will gather at AYB and insta upgrade on 1st turn of civic change with professional army. Won't have enough gold to upgrade the 6th HC at start of war, but in total, I will send 6 knights and 4 horsemen to conquer Arabia. Now I am aware that Alham will try to DOF block me so I will have capture Medina first and decrease how much he can move through. But to fuel my comeback, I will pay very greedly. You have seen the Viking scenario PBEM with all the pillaging? I will also play a pillaging game called "Greece sacks Arabia" with the raid card. High priority targets are pastures ,mines  and quarries . Hopefully all the pillaging will get me to muskets. The biggest problem is that I dunno where Arabia's 5th city is. If I can't conquer Arabia quickly, then game is over, sadly. But going all in.

See England's galley? and I know he doesnt have carto from tech timeline so we are really close. I hope England doesnt invade me and instead look toward the inevitable Russian menace. Rowain's galley constitutes about 20% of his total power. Sending a sword and 2 archers to coast city incase he makes more boats.

Will have to declare next turn. Rowain offered a DOF and his scout will see my HC/knight army next turn. I hope he doesnt pillage my 1 TR to Amsterdam. I dont think he can defend but could surprise me with pikes.

Age of knights have arrived. Started by DOW Arabia and killing the scout with the xbow. Not sure what happened but this delayed Medieval Faries from 9 turns to 10 turns and Theater squares from 4 to 5 turns. What gives?



A new government to go along with the ages of knights. I'm sure another thread demonstrated this, but I can't remember which one. Get 2 policy changes by changing policy 1st then government. So adopted diplomatic league, put an envoy into Lisbon and rolled the dice with the GS and got the Celestral Navigator eureka for the Preslave envoy. Didn't get the boost to pikes but can't win them all. Then changed to autocracy. I don't expect to finish any workers because I research the UB 1st.

Just spitballing, but the surprise DOW and attacks might have given you enough war weariness to push you down a happiness tier.

Well based on power the conquest should be quick. Built 2nd entertainment district EOT and capital is building a settler for coffee in 4t

I will take Medina next turn unless Rowain moves his xbow out of the city SW to cover the spot. This will be an easy conquest as I suspected. Couldnt pillage the horse because of the encampment.

Captured Medina and it did take all 4 hits. Alham's legion made it to the borders but it's too late.

Alham should have taken his settler back after seeing the troops but he want to settle? I have enough units in the area to block him. Even pulled the worker who was supposed to mine the hill in AYB. Holding back from researching TS so I can get a discount on the 3rd encampment first.
