I'm not averse to CLIFF. JR4, unless you have any major objections, let's go with CLIFF.

CLIFF is red
Red wins!
Going second you really want to find a way to finish in 3 rounds. Unfortunately while I had plenty of 2 clues, I had great difficulty finding a pair of 3 clues that I liked. Then I found Cylindrical 4 and while STICK was Blue and very likely to be chosen, I figured that if we got 4 words out of it then it would be worth it. Except we only got 3 with only Bob mentioning TRUNK near the bottom of his list, and we still gave Blue STICK. Not the best start for us.
After OH only got 1/3 for Spin (BTW, I still have no idea what he was going for with that. ROULETTE, VACUUM & ???), I thought maybe we could get a 4th turn. Regardless I still had to plan for 3 rounds, so Profession 2 was next on the list. Aside from the clues being obvious, it was also intended to get you away from PIRATE, as both potential clues I had for round 3 could lead you there (even though this was later irrelevant as OH got rid of PIRATE with his next clue). And then Titanic. I very nearly did Lookout 3 instead, but figured the team would reach TRAIN before TRUNK with that clue. Bob was pretty much spot-on with my logic for this clue. With DECK being obvious, the re-clued cylindrical word could only be TRUNK and then the last word had to be specific to Titanic - aka crashing into a Ice CLIFF. CLIFF was definitely the hardest and I was prepared for it to miss, but you guys totally got it. Good job team!

You would get chided at a table for pulling out your phone to look up a word during a game, so don't do it online either. As it wasn't used for directly finding the meaning of a clue, I let it slide without making a fuss. But in general referencing wikipedia for clue guessing is a big no no.
The other spin word was probably WASHINGTON, for political spin. It must have been a frustrating game for OH, we weren't going in the direction he was leading.

Nicely done team, a real group effort! Exciting to have a game where everyone sees a different piece of the solution, and we manage to assemble it in the end.
I think "Alive" was really going to mess with Blue... it certainly looked like OH was specifically trying to keep his team away from Washington, as WK moved Red away from Pirate.
Nicely done everyone, and happy holidays to those celebrating. I'll be flying out of town tomorrow and will be a bit less active until the 31st, but I'll try to check RB at least once a day when we start round 2.
