I didn't say it before, but I think it goes without saying that Krill did not take the deal.

SevenSpirits Wrote:I vaguely think you get the spy message if YOU did some spy message investigating last login. Would that line up with what's happened?

We started some spy stuff but didn't follow through with it -- we were hoping to get a "poor man's paper" by using the Steal Technology feature to see what techs were available to steal. Sadly it did not work out that way, so we didn't steal anything.

Of note: I did not get the spy message when I loaded the turn, but I think I did click to spy on Yuri's city -- again, I backed out. Still, why does it say Jabberwock is the civ we steal gold from when Commodore isn't at all involved? Our spy is in Yuris' city.

regoarrarr Wrote:The 2 cities that are building Wealth are saving some overflow hammers so that they can overflow into Horse Archers next turn, which will get auto-upgraded into knights when we discover Guilds at EO(n)T.

Originally those were half-finished catapults that I never figured a way to finish (after next turn it's going to be knights - knights - knights). So if you want to swap those to other builds for 1 turn (like market / courthouse / library) then that would not affect our totals for knights. At the same time, expenses are shooting up considerably faster than I thought, so maybe a few extra gold now is just what we need. (You'll notice I'm slowing research to get minimal overflow off Guilds; we want to have as much gold available as possible for our golden age.)

What may affect our totals for knights is that the worker micro in HS being messed up. The worker actions went through before I got to the city, so we will not reach the needed size 10 by end of t180. We'll be 1 food short. Not a huge deal: we'll gain that food at end of t181 and lose a total of ~5 hammers total. But we gain 3 hammers here because the workshop finished a turn earlier than originally planned. So we only lose 2 hammers overall.

At least you didn't rename this one like you did my last idea for a city plant tongue

Quote:* Can we take a tile from Hanukkah Song for Schweddy balls to work for now (rather than a grass forest)? Ideally we could take that grass spice back but I figured you had the food for HS micro'd out. We could take a 1/3/1 workshop tile that HS is not using but that would mean we wouldn't be growing in SB

Taking a ws tile is fine. But we absolutely need to have those spice tiles under HS this turn and next because of the before-mentioned worker micro mishap.

Quote:* Our power is up to 511K, good for 2nd (Krill is 1st, of course). And we haven't even built any kuh-nigg-ets yet!

Yeah, if Yuri isn't noticing now, he will in 10 turns when our golden age is done. And we attack in 11 turns!

Yeah, I think you get a message when you backed out of a spy mission on your last login.

I think having them on Wealth is fine. I'm getting excited. Just in time for the game to be paused for a week..... frown

The problem with taking the workshop is that then Schweddy won't grow, and it's only 2 food short. You're sure we can't have a spice for a turn, since HS won't grow for another turn anyways?

Krill founded 2 MORE cities (!). I believe that puts him at 31 now. He must really be going nuts on all those islands.

Paging Dr. Scooter.... what are you doing with that war and all those berserkers dude?!?!!?

The tradeoff is going to be every 1 food we deny HS, thats an additional turn of 5hpt (before modifiers) lost during the golden age. So giving 2 food to SB now will cost HS 10 hammers / 22 hammers towards knights.

I'd rather give the ws to SB and use our workers to farm a grassland for SB. Or get paper so we can chop those trees.

Well if you want to make the change, feel free to log in. Other option would be just let it roll for 2t till SB grows to size 4. Though I suppose at that point all the workshops will be used by HS.

Third option is both of us just watch the Olympics and neither of us get around to logging in again lol

Agree on getting Paper - probably after Engineering?

Good thing there's a pause, because this is probably the most likely lol

Indeed that was what happened, but that's okay lol

Turn has rolled and I took a look at T180.

It would be good to get a sentry HA over to Wayne's World so it can occupy the hill and give us quite a bit of knowledge on Yuri-ville

I believe a sentry unit on the yellow circle should give vision on all of the red circled tiles? If not - at least on most of them which will be useful. I think the galley SW of OTOF has time to unload its War Elephants (to the other nearby galley) and shuttle a HA from over by Coneheads to Wayne's World and back to OTOF by T186, but I wanted your confirmation before doing something that might mess up the micro plan lol

We still need worker actions over at Hanukkah Song - am I correct that the 3 workers there are done and can move to chop forests over at Schweddy Balls?

Also there are 5 workers near Toonces that need actions - workshop the grass tile 1S of the city? We could also send 2 of them to road the other Krill-border jungle tile. The reason I've put a sign there to not chop them (which you probably figured out already), is so that he is slowed down if he tries to attack us with 2-movers.

I turned down science one notch to 60% (still Guilds in 1). I swapped our 2 cities back off of Wealth, which leads to cool tricks like this

We'll actually come just short of building our first 90 hammer knight at the end of THIS turn

Workers around HS are free to do tasks - the worker micro part for HS is done. Same with the workers around TC. Eventually we are going to want to farm those jungle tiles, but maybe it's more prudent to wait until after our war with Yuri.

For shuttling a HA from Coneheads to WW - I think the best way to do it would be the galley that is going to shuggle WW knights (the green galley in my logistics plan). After it drops of the first WW knight it can pick up the HA and bring it back.

Um, where is that galley btw?
