Okay, a here's my analysis of just the final hour. Note that I'm using one of Bigger's vote totals to start, so it may not be precisely accurate :neenernee-
I have
bolded certain things which I felt were notable and/or suspicious, for the sake of visibility.
Going in, I believe Selrahc has two votes against him (meiz, waterbat), Lewwyn three (jkaen, maniac, selrahc), and Injera four (Serdoa, bobchillingworth, lewwyn, molach).
* Right before the final flurry of vote changes,
Zak states that Injera "reads as villager to me".
* Post #1170, Injera votes for Selrahc.
*
Jkaen makes a semi-literate appeal for the village to not lynch Injera, which Lewwyn has already quoted above.
* Sareln then votes for Selrahc. Selrahc has 4 votes on him (
meiz, waterbat, Injera, Sareln), Injera four as well, voters unchanged. Only around half an hour is left, so at this point it is very likely to be between Selrahc and Injera, as there is no momentum on third pick Lewwyn.
* Selrahc votes for Injera, putting Injera up for the lynch with 5 votes to 4.
*
Zak states that "I guess I have to put my money where my mouth is" and votes Selrahc, tying it up 5 vs 5.
* Lewwyn votes for Selrahc, putting Selrahc into lynch position. I would bold this, but then he immediately switches back to Injera after
Selrahc claims Baner ten minutes later.
* Two minutes later, Sareln switches from Selrahc to Injera, now putting Injera up for a lynch.
* Zak switches off Selrahc-
but to thestick, who otherwise has attracted little heat (just one late vote from Brick).
*
Zak, possibly attempting to justify his votes (specifically, his _not_ voting for Injera), says "Also still willing to lynch Maniac, obviously. Though I guess it's too late".
*
BRick switches to Injera from...
thestick (???)
So, trying to parse the above. First, "
The Good"-
- It is incredibly obvious at this point that Serdoa is a villager. Either that or a wolf so obsessed with wrecking the other wolves that he gets to be an honorary villager anyway.
- Molach and myself voted for Injera early and stayed on him.
- Selrahc's last-minute baner claim is something a desperate wolf would do;
that said, he gains a heap of village cred for voting for Injera, in a move which (at the time) both save himself and puts a wolf up on the block.
- While Lewwyn at first makes a deeply suspicious move to lynch Selrahc instead of Injera, he switches back to Injera once Selrahc power-claims. It would have been fairly simple to just let Selrahc hang anyway. I don't think that Lewwyn gains a whole lot of village cred from this (although he
was voting for a leading Injera before the later push from others onto Selrahc), but he doesn't come out looking suspicious either.
- Sareln makes a very pro-village move by switching from Selrahc to Injera, ensuring that a wolf will hang.
Now, none of the above totally confirms anyone's innocence or rules out third-party affiliation, but everyone above played a role in getting a wolf killed. From most +villager cred to least, I'd rank them something like Serdoa > Me > Molach > Selrahc > Sareln > Lewwyn. Yes, I'm giving myself a lot of credibility here
And here are "
The Bad"-
- Zak comes out of this looking suspicious as hell. First he ties the vote by voting for Selrahc, then he switches off of Selrahc after the baner claim but avoids making a vote against Injera, and then finally he makes a feeble attempt to get an almost literally last-minute dogpile on Maniac going (which could have theoretically worked, enough players were viewing the forum at that point).
- Jkaen pleads against an Injera lynch without a coherent rationale.
- Brick reacts to Selrahc's baner claims by saying "Ack. So much drama." and switching his vote-
but he was never voting for Selrahc in the first place! Instead he places vote #7 on Injera with no rationale, a pointless vote against a wolf who was already sure to hang (less than 10 min remained before the deadline). Also, consider this- Sareln and Molach, the two other members of the Drone Saga were both making strongly pro-village moves at the end (well, Molach wasn't around, but he had a very village vote already on the board). We thought there was going to be a NAP in the cloud of Neighbors- and there was. We think there's one in the Drone Saga- dollars to donuts, it's Brick.
I think
all of Jkaen, Zak and Brick are wolves. Maybe Jkaen is innocent and just a godawful villager. Maybe the same is the case for Zak. Maybe Brick... actually I can't even come up with a plausible excuse for him.
So. It was a long day, but I think the final hour does indeed prove telling.
