Point to SPINE
Yes, I think TAIL(bone) has to be the other word. The clue is Vertebrae, plural. Not vertebrate (which might point us to something like DUCK).
Also, I think we agreed on SPRING as our +1? Tarkeel, you said STRING instead. Was that a typo? I don't think STRING is nearly as strong.

I meant STRING as an alternative to TAIL. SPRING seems logical as the +1 at this point.

I think we have to hazard the guess on the +1, and given Azoth's musings in #126...

SPRING is red.
Red Team wins!

Post-mortem: My first clue went way too broad. I had been thinking Endangered in terms of endangered animals, aiming for HIMALAYAS (snow leopards + others), TAG (used with conservation), IVORY and TRUNK (elephants). I thought along those lines probably because my partner works at a zoo, so it comes up a lot conversationally. But you guys were totally right that the broader sense of endangered fit loads of words here, like BOND, and it was a weak clue.
After that, I felt like we were playing from behind. DaveV was completely correct in that KETCHUP, TAG and DRESS were the three intended words for 'shopping.' KETCHUP was a nightmare and that was the only efficient way I could think to get rid of it. But again, other words also fit Shopping. I've never heard 'Shop till you drop' before, so that link surprised me.
Medicare was indeed HOSPITAL and CANADA (99% sure it's called that there too). Here I was trying to either bluff their team into thinking I was more comfortable with their musing, or hope they picked STRING instead of SPRING (though that seemed unlikely). It wasn't to be. I couldn't think of any reasonable clues for KETCHUP, HOSPITAL, PIRATE, TRUNK and CANADA that also avoided the other words though. It would have had to be all 5, because it sounded like we were quite keen on SPRING ourselves from the Shopping clue.
This was a great learning experience, even if the board felt quite tricky for blue. GG El Grillo and team, and well played. It was fun, I'd definitely be up for more games.

GG Amica and well played red team.
My original plan was to lead with Oasis 4 targeting PYRAMID, SPRING, WATER, and DROP, expecting the team to need a couple of rounds to get all of them, followed up with 2-word clues for the remaining 4 words. However, I was having trouble pairing ENGLAND and SATURN (TAIL and SPINE being inseparable), so when blue team accidentally hit WATER on their turn, I decided to pivot to cluing PYRAMID/SATURN/SPRING so I could get clue Brexit 2 = "ENGLAND DROPs out of EU" which Azoth picked up on. I hoped that the many gods of planting, fertility, and the vernal equinox would beat out HIMALAYAS, but it worked out in the end. The clue was Polytheistic instead of Polytheism just to avoid any chance of a Civ4 link to WHIP
For KETCHUP, I think there was a sweet concept to hit KETCHUP CANADA and DRESS with a reference to all-dressed chips, but I don't know if Chips 3 would've been enough to get there, and all you non-Canadians might not have even heard of it.
