(Spoilers) Superdeath's Mystery Gambit

This is the power graph. Im going up against someone who has had Knights for a solid amount of time longer than i have. Has CANNONS

The aftermath. I have my units set to auto-promote, so if he does decide to immediately swing, i should have "some" defense. If he pauses to heal/ect, i have a GG medic already, and have 2 GG c3 anti-horse knights ready to take more lives. Now, Ginger did surprise me a bit and had a galley +2 caravels running up my western shore, so thats tying up a couple of knights, as i dont want him to have any easy captures. Im heavily relying on Commodore/Naufragar to do something to maybe divert some of Ginger's forces elsewhere. I could probably regroup (if he lets me) and heal to smack his stack again, but ive done about the most that i can atm. His stack cannot move worth a shit unless he captures my mids city.

Amica is starting to pull ahead again with his greener land, and is dumping EP into me for some fucked up reason, really just annoying atm, because any other enemy just takes my cities.

Gavagai i declared on as he appears to be moving forward. I offered him straight peace with his ex-city included. I attempted to communicate last turn that i want open borders, and him to stop trading with Ginger. im HOPING that he sees more potential growth by slamming that stack of his into Ginger, and taking a city or two possibly off of him.

If Ginger can survive the coming dogpile, i think he sweeps me and becomes the frontrunner/winner. Otherwise Commodore/Naufragar will have to burn some Amica cities. Going to be over either REALLY shortly, or in 150t.

Yay.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. Surprised how well your knights took care of the cannons! Did you promote to anti-siege?

i tried, but then slightly wounded knights became the top defender, so i had to take 47-67% fights. Cannons defended almost immediately after the highly promoted knights, and the 3-4 muskets/phalanx's.

In fact, MOST of my fights were in that range. My 70-80% fights that most of my WE's participated in, i lost most of them. I carefully counted, and i only won 2 low odds fights. I lost a good chunk of my knights in 60-70% knight v knight fights, so this honestly could have looked a bit better. RNG was.... "okay/bad" this time around.

hm, maybe the log looks greener than it actually is due to all the flanking... but that also worked out beautifully smile

The bloodthirsty lurkers are pleased smile I'd be curious to see the stats screen for Knights trained/lost at the end of all this.

Same.

Ginger tried to cease-fire and then sent a peace treaty. Gavagai didnt give me open borders, so i asked for them again.. Im sure he has no reason to give a shit what others want, but id REALLY like for him to be at least that nice. Commodore looks ready to snipe some cities, Naufragar took a city off of him, Ginger can of course, take either Commodore or myself out and not care about one side of his empire, but.... he is running into a real shit scenario where you cant defend both sides at once and i dont believe myself or Commodore are unaware enough to give peace at this point. G2 muskets are a PAIN to unlodge tho. Gotta keep that in mind for later...........

Obviously i cannot see ALL of his units, but i think its safe to say that i can see most of his knights at least. They are all in 1 city healing.

Next turn we begin conquering Gavagai. Who for some reason gave me open borders "finally" which helped secure the capture or raze of the city farthest west. Depending on his positioning im going to either run knights straight at his capital, or it will be a doom stack showdown. Him not having Engineering is REALLY helping me here, he cannot hit me with his Cats without me being able to flank them with my knights for at least 4 more turns or so. Hopefully i can force him to not be able to finish engineering in 4t, and seal his fate.
