Why is it is so friggen satisfying to see the high peace weight guys just obliterate the field? I guess cuz there's so many more low piece weight and they're so much less sophisticated. Oh Alex wins a game? He spams chariots until he runs out of wood to make more wheels. Oh Darius wins a game? He's in space while you're in castles.

Suggestion for next year's championship match: Turn off barbs entirely for that game. The map seems to be determined more by the barb city spawns than by the actual contestants!


Also maybe a fresh map since we basically see the same settling every year, and I realize that is a huge ask. I could maybe try my hand at one but I'm not an experienced mapper. I didn't mind the circle map in hindsight.
