maybe DZ wants it for the ivory, that's the only reason to keep what's otherwise an iceball, it has no other food sources in range so without the cow it will be a runt until Biology. If we could convey that we still give him ivory then that might help. Although I don't like its position as-is, I wish it was on the hill.
How do we get workers to stampede? By boat?
I want to move the small stack of units near Atlantis closer to deluge. Deluge is still at risk of MS sending some Horchers from the blue. Good news is we pushed back MS's culture-vision of that halfway staging tile.
Also the new city needs to watch out for a potential border pop from GKC's city Tours. It's probably ~20 turns from popping ring 3 and putting 2cpt on the cow, so monastery after granary-walls would make sense.

Ok let's end this.
However, hadn't Charriu left in a few at least vaguely useful resolutions?
Rag is the rare second city that might overcome the capital eventually. With the shrine (fingers crossed) it's bound to become a commerce monster, and with AP and those few tiles it has hammers to get multipliers running.
As you see, we're terribly late with cottaging, but at least this valley is getting what it deserves now.

What’s happening? Honestly nothing much, it’s sleepy here. Magic Science is keeping up in tech and nearly in food, although our MFG dunks on his. We’re suffering Tech Distraction Syndrome and slowing our push to guilds. Our growth is okay not fabulous but no complaints, we’re slowly occupying colossus coast and doing some much belated cottage work.
DZ and MS suffer some border tension but DZ’s economy is bad. However both play long turns
otoh GKC is mentally and economically spent
If we do end up unifying the continent and winning, metal will have been the hero of this story for sure

this is quite funny, well done by metal. Also he somehow ensures that GKC's army remain on their border, and can't quickly turn to attack us. Not sure what we did to deserve that but
apparently the other guys want to delay our inevitable victory. Good thing Plemo is on our side
We got the Music artist! Not quite sure what will happen with him though, but basically, if the third GP (from Atlantis, who will come quickly through NE after the one from Deluge) is not a prophet, we research Drama and bulb Divine Right while thinking of a place to build Globe. If it is a prophet, we just bulb with him and the artist most likely goes for a GA - although, after Drama he can also bulb Nationalism. Hm.
A culture bomb looks rather unlikely to achieve much success on our Cre-infested continent.

Looks like we got away with delaying Construction until now. Now off to more pressing tech needs, we are running out of useful wonders to build!

everybody:

So good to be born on Love Island. We had some 230 hammers in Paya, and it's so lovely of Plemo to build it so we can get started on Paper already .
The big fat question coming up is if we roll the 5% engineer in Deluge, or get our desired prophet for a shrine that must already be worth 50gpt at least. Any subsequent prophet will have much worse odds, so fingers crossed...

I vaguely remember "love island" having quite a bit of war.....
What are your tech goals? / other plans?
Other island news?

Look, isn't one key to enduring love to let bygones be bygones, forgive and overcome?
In fact, everybody but GKC has been at war against two neighbours, but those were all little quarrels, a border city here, an island there, and love is about taking and giving. Even GKC with his Nebu-into-Construction rush couldn't push himself to take more than one city from metal. And now peace is universal .
Tech goals are Paper, then backlog of IW/Calendar/HBR, and then we have to think long and hard if we want to be serious about this game and tech Guilds, or go for the next pie in the sky and push cuirassiers through Education (we even get +100% hammers on Oxford!). At some point bulb Divine Right with either a third prophet (highest odds in Atlantis, but by no means secure) or the Music artist (would need Drama... :/ ) and finish naturally.
On the island, Magic Science has an economy on par with ours (pre shrine / Sankore, oh dear I hope this works), but much less MfG. Donovan and GKC have some substance but bad GNP, metal is a husk despite his heroism. The worst case scenario I can think of is Donovan going for a campaign against metal and inevitably getting backstabbed and swallowed by MS's knights, while we are busy building Chichen Itza or something because we can.

As euphoric as a Taj-chained golden age and renaissance bulb-fest can be, I think Cuirassiers just come too slowly, and there is an opportunity to roll at least one neighbor with knights before they get Engineering.
Two main questions in my mind are
1) do we build Sistine, to have backdoor access to a culture victory, I'm currently leaning "no" as its quite expensive and a bit of an alarm bell and demo inflator
2) when do we golden age? we have access right now, and will have it soon even sans artist as Atlantis churning out a whopping 40 gpp. The thinking is to delay until we've grown to happy or near happy everywhere, but we're almost there
