Had our full compliment tonight, which was nice, even though Seth had some computer issues (haha, I'm not the only one).

We managed to finish the Desolation, and even got Master's on Ruins of Morah. Next week we start the final leg of the campaign inside Realm of Torment.

I don't know if I'll be able to make it tonight or not - we had a terrific wind storm here yesterday (huge number of trees were blown down), and the power (and cable) went out yesterday afternoon, and according to Hawk-hubby, still aren't back on. I hope I'll be there, but don't be surprised if I'm not.

Update: the power is back on! So I'll be there afterall! Yaayyyyy!

Yesterday's progress: we finished Gate of Pain on the second try, and the only reason we needed that was because of a bad aggro against one of the Tortureweb Dryders that brought both it and some torment creatures down on us. We didn't make that mistake twice and after switching a few things around, had a pretty easy go of it. We concluded the night by getting the treasure in Nightfallen Jahai, where Aravis was finally able to get a max damage sword (and one with my favorite sword skin too, the Igneous Blade).

Next week we'll start with Kormir's Crusade and see how far we can get. Considering the length of the next chain of quests and the length of the next mission we may only get up to the mission and not have time to finish it. If that happens and we have some extra time, we can do a bit of clean-up work and get the other Desolation chest and go for Master's on Grand Court of Sebelkeh, as well as any other stuff people want to finish up (i.e. I don't think Aravis or Seth has done Nundu or Pogahn and both are quick and easy).

The next chain of primary quests aren't really that long if you avoid the battles, which is probably a good idea in the first area anyways with all the rain torment creatures. The second leg of the quest has a bunch of margonites in the beginning, a bunch that can be avoided and then either choosing to fight the titans or the minions of menzie in order to get to an protect the npc from one last group of margonites before entering the gate of madness outpost. We could actually do gate of madness, completing it might be the problem.

Don't forget that Hard Mode will start this weekend. This means that the endgame areas will become easier in normal mode (i think the mists was one of the places made easier in normal mode).

Tonight's progress: We finished the game! That's right folks, the LoL team has beaten Nightfall using nothing but collector armor, runes and insignias that were dropped, less than perfect weapons, and only hero skills on the players (though we did allow heroes to use any unlocked Core and NF skills they had). Good job all around! Hopefully, by this weekend, I'll have a screenshot collage showing off my character, his armor/weapons, titles, and skill list.

For now, we can just enjoy the victory.

One thing I forgot to do Tuesday night is take a screenshot of the entire team together. Getting a shot during the ending cinematic would have been ideal but I didn't think of it. Oops. Anyways, at some point we should get the team together again and get a shot of the entire team standing together.
