Not much going on. I'm building ships, and I got a new spy to replace the dead one. Long term goals:
1. Use Great Merchant to ally a City State and then marry it
2. Start bullying Azza on the coast if he moves his army away.
3. Try to capture a City State if I can't hurt Azza. Unlikely to succeed because they have machine guns.

Shit just got real. Meiz declared war on Azza. There are still a lot of Azza's units on the coast defending against me, while the area around his capital is completely empty (I have a spy there). Spoilers: He's gon die.

Azza lost Mother Sky. I still don't see any units around his capital, which will be next in line to fall. His units are still tied up on this side of the continent.

Going broke is pretty harmless, assuming it didn't change in BNW. Any gold deficit greater than your remaining treasury just gets subtracted from your beaker production instead. They don't go on strike like in Civ4 but every now and then 1 Unit gets disbanded (that is the strike in civ5).
