Yeah, as you pointed out earlier, THH had to be teching something without a pre-req so Fishing is the only thing that fits.

He's still not getting a known tech bonus, but Myst is the only tech left in the first row... Weird

Someone definitely got a forest growth, but what makes you sure it was Mardoc?

We are 1st to size 3. Everyone else is building a settler likely.



Anyways I did some sims this morning and I really cannot justify settling the 5th city anywhere else but 2N of desert hill. Tundra hill is too slow to develop and wont become productive soon enough when our civ needs help right away. We don't have enough worker+military support for silver city because of barbs on. I will send the 3rd worker to farm the N FP which the capital can work to get to size 4 1 turn faster so it can work 4th settler for 3T then whip. We should be able to put OF into a WC then Library. My plan for 2N city is to 1 whip granary and LH, use OF to build warrior for city guard then grow to size 6 fast to 3 whip settler or library.

One civ had 90 health for a long time which meant it was at pop 1 and had +1 health. From T14 pic, we didn't finish farming the corn yet so unlikely Mardoc had both corn and sheep improved by then as well.

EDIT: THH is now teching something with a prereq.

Yeah, not sure why it didn't show in the demos last turn, but THH is probably researching BW or Pottery now.

I think Miguel built a work boat to explore the mainland / make contacts.

Weren't the workers supposed to move into two separate forests for the chops into the settler?

That was a very old plan. New plan is to save every tree for MOM.

Mardoc teched something in 4T with 0 power increase so very likely he just teched Myst.

THH grew to 3 and settled his 2nd city on the same turn. Will probably build a WB and claim the fish fast thanks to his CRE trait. Miguelito researched BW as expected.

Miguelito also grew to 3 and settled their 2nd city this turn. Even though our city will be later, having 2 workers on it should get it developed faster and it will only work 2 tiles for a while anyways.

THH likely used his faster 3rd ring to build a mine on hill S of Tundra deer. I think Miguelito has the top CY?

Mardoc settled 2nd city.
THH grew 2nd city to size 2.
Miguelito grew 2nd city to size 2 and teched hunting.
The latter two probably did so by working the sheep which I really don't think is a good idea but we will see in 20 turns how our empires develop.
Copper was at the suspected location EOT.
