Correct, that is why I sent a trader.

Emperor K is in deep shit. As far as I can see he is missing masonry (no city wall popped up), bronze working (no spearmans) and mil tradition (no support boni).
He has about 2-3 turns to make his final moves, until my troops are in place. A bit of maneuvring so he can not get an archer shot in and I yellowline his warrior.
Nothing in range.
Scout reveals defensive position, we strike next turn. Reinforcements in 1-2 turns, so the time to strike has come.
Hmm, I forgot to upload turn 56, will do so in the evening from home.
Basically we attacked and got 1-2 hits on warriors in whilst Emperor K takes a defensive position behind the river. His capital is in a terrible undefendable location against me. At the start of the turn: Kill the southern warrior, hurt Fourth State (falls next turn if no units pops) and choke the capital. Maybe even kill an archer if he does not retreat. Despite my worries, no chariots kills on the interturn and whilst I am very cautious, with no chops possible and no walls in sight I fear Emperor K is done for. So the question is, what next? I hope the audience is entertained. The first chariot rush of CIV VI PBEM. Also the very small change of +3 CS on Cavalry and x2 intel bonus with the added bonus of the trader is really a punch in the gut. But it was a close call. In 3 turns Emperor K can do a dark age policy and boost his troops. But if you see Mongolians as your neighbour, you better research masonry, just in case, I guess.
As for what's next, perhaps establish a front line here and go back for Kabul and Hong Kong? Getting a second wave ready to go after Gilgamesh once the DoF ends might also be an option, especially with Magnus in play. Gaining control of this end of the map would be an unstoppable position, I think.
If it were me I might go into builder mode for a bit and chop out a couple of settlers for Pasture Lake and the jungle/forest west of Camorr while teching for Keshigs and figuring out what to do with Gilgamesh.

Don't do what I did: PBEM 3 - Arabia , PBEM 6 - Australia This worked well enough: PBEM 10 - Aztecs Gamus Interruptus: PBEM 14 - Indonesia Gathering Storm Meanderings: PBEM 15 - Gorgo You Say Pítati, I Say Potato: PBEM 17 - Nubia The Last of the Summer Wine: PBEM 18 - Eleanor/England Rhymin' Simon: PBEM 20 - Indonesia (Team w/ China)
9 on the georgian front, probable losses before elimination 1-2 chariots. The +9 results in brutally small damage on my attacking chariots, so it could be one.
In the south 3 partly to use chops by Magnus, partly for a CS push south. I need a big strategic evaluation post, only so much, I am considering riding onto Japper.
Is Japper to the west of Emperor K?
