Keep Chumchu Alive is my current goal. Because PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR ARE NATURAL ALLIES, NOT VICTIMS TO MORONICALLY GANK LIKE A CRETIN.

By the above rubric, Natural Ally Alhazard timed this attack very well. Well enough that he might bowl over Donovan, actually.
I doubt Al is unaware of our fellow status as potential game rivals, though. His Pyramids mean he's our rival with an equal happy cap. Tempting as it will be to work specialists, I suspect he'll also be smart and use the people for cottages. I feel like our own capital cottages are a bit slow in coming, but there's a team of fast workers on it now. Check back soon for all these flats cottaged.

I've got a more fundamental question: Eberunian? Shouldn't that be Erebusian?

Judaism is spread in all but one of our cities. Jungle clearing…isn’t swift. Have the first gems mined (gems traded for Chumchu’s gold), and the helpful barbarians have cleared the jungle on one of the dyes. Double sugar city is going to suck for a little while, but there’s extremely little time until we have Calendar, actually. Bonus sugar and dye are going to be interesting to trade.
Trade is fun. I’ve gone to open borders with everyone except for Always Chaotic Evil Superdeath (ACES). Love seeing all the neighbors in conflict while we’ve been basically peaceful all game. I have a few notes on the locals…
…and then I poked up Ye Olde Scout. This is Regentman’s capital, only city of his remaining. You can see both of his metals here, copper and iron, in the captive cities. Poor guy, rough first Realms Beyond pitboss. There’s not much room on this map at all, yikes.
Opportunity is knocking. That double clam/wet rice location is easily the highest food spot we’ve yet seen on this map. That’s potentially a great GP farm long term, but in the meantime it’s a great whipping spot.

What’s the city count around the world?
Do you have military to defend a double clam plant?

In a word? No.
Well played, Donovan. I really need to stop playing at 4am with a burping baby.

Don't beat yourself up too bad. I could gave noticed that our defenses were light if I had been logging in more than once every few turns

Well, you definitely got at least half of your summary of DZ's position right . I guess we'll see about the economic half later.
Just how bad is it for you? I have to say that I'm a little confused as to the overall position (I've only been following this thread), but how has he been able to spare this force from his other wars?
