After re-reading the spoilers, I think HEAD is sufficiently out of date that it would only be clued by an old guy like me. I favor PAPER and DOG at this point.

Anyone against pointing to paper?

HOLE is a clear match, CHOCOLATE seems pretty clear as well. Third word could be a couple candidates. A ROULETTE wheel has a donut shape. BERLIN as a reference to the famous “ich bin ein berliner” JFK quote that unintentionally meant “I am a jelly donut.”

"Donut-shaped" can mean "with a HOLE".
You get CHOCOLATE Donuts.
There is such as a thing as a BERLINer donut IIRC (although "Ich bin ein Berliner" doesn't actually mean "I am a DONUT").

This one looks pretty clear to me:
CHOCOLATE - donut flavor
HOLE - it's not a donut without a hole.  Also a hole is not anything except when it's a donut hole.
SATURN - looks like a donut, at least the rings do.

After reading spoilers - I guess I can see Berlin but it seems more tenuous than Saturn.
Do not like Roulette, it's less donut-shaped than CROWN.  Actually now that I think about it I can see an argument for CROWN as a donut of gold - although I still like SATURN more.

We`re all on board with HOLE and CHOCOLATE. The third word is a bit harder. My first thought was SATURN as it`s shaped almost like a donut with its famous rings.

Fwiw, I`ve never heard of that connection to BERLIN before. It does make some sense and I don`t completely hate it but SATURN is a more obvious way of cluing donut in my opinion.

Anyway, let`s start with...

Replying before we're sure about the colours because I'm off round to my in-laws in a bit for dinner.

I didn't see the Donut->Ring->SATURN intially, but when I was growing up I came across jam doughnuts (sic) a lot more frequently than these ring things. I prefer BERLIN - The link is less ambiguous: if the meaning is "donut shaped" then (as other's have pointed out), you have to start looking at other possibilities. DOnut would still be valid though, in order to bring in CHOCOLATE as well as the shapes.

But that could be a bias towards "clever" links that has not always worked well for me in the last few rounds ... Meh. If it were up to me I would go BERLIN, but I'm not going to blame people for going SATURN.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I do prefer SATURN to CROWN, and that to ROULETTE.
