Death or glory! what gave you the idea I was calling off the war? we are producing instruments of war as we speak! I am only waiting to have overwhelming odds to launch  .I do need to prepare for life after war though - we have to research something  .the only war tech path available to us is feudalism/guilds. Longbows won't help in a war where we are aggressive, and azza is preparing himself to defend against knights (he already has a formidable amount of elephants, and will soon be able to build pikes).

Yeah, I was meaning tech path 2 - the war is a done deal, I'm counting the number of cities you're going to gain already!

Lets go straight for taj? Either that or engineering or faster units. I don't think we can win the battle to Lib... and I don't like having to pump out all the GP to make the Lib plan feasible.

I don't think we can win the battle to Lib... and I don't like having to pump out all the GP to make the Lib plan feasible. good, that was my first choice as well as for engineering, that would be very useful for road movement... but we might as well wait for azza to get it. and I don't think he'll get it by the time we go to war anyway. so next turn Ill overflow into drama. won't finish it until we finish our quest. it should take 5-6 turns for library to complete in mahabrata (with whip incoming) which means we will have a tidy sum of gold to plow through (1600 or so) and will only need philo and nationalism. I'll get a GP out of shah for a golden age as quick as I can.. whipping library there will be easy, the national epic will take a little longer. good news is if its delayed we should be in golden age while we are building taj, which means we can build it super quick in gilgamesh. is it crazy to consider diverting for music for the free GA and maybe sistene chapel as well?

BTW just to let you know if you want to take a break or want me to play turns at any point let me know. I'm enjoying taking a backseat as much as I enjoy playing the turns too.
