WHY HELLO THERE AMICA.
Great. Now i have a very real chance of dying before this game finally ends. Lets see what i can do about it.
Arranged units like so, defend my HE city because pumping out a 4 promo Protective rifle a turn is good.
Wish i had frigates... but WAIT, he has destroyers! Yay.

Sooooo, i know it looks bad and it is. But, outside of 40 machine guns, i can shred anything that actually LANDS on the shore. Problem is, he can literally just stay at sea and raze any city he cant keep. He shouldnt be able to win EVERY single battle tho right? Well, i went thru my combat log and outside of the 95%+ battles that i shrug off as "well its spears vs heavy artillery" my Longbows and Muskets have his combat odds at around 70% and he hasnt lost a single one. Maybe that means ill get some lucky knight vs MG kills here soon? Doubtful. Probably just lose my 4 or 5 settled GG HE city to amphibious attacks and scream.
At least the capital is on a hill, so theoretically it shouldnt fall to amphibious attacks nearly as easily.. RIGHT?
Incase the picture above this one didnt show everything, this is what he currently has to lay waste to my beautiful countryside.
This is what i have to counter.
Again, i have to choose between protecting my core (basically just my capital and HE city as those are my only productive/good cities) and eating Tarkeel alive with my stack. Great timing boys. I really hope that DZ hits Rifling soon and just ENDS Tarkeel before this game ends. Just to show what terrible decision making he made in the last 100t.
I almost ALMOST want to hit Tarkeel's stack again out of spite at this point, since his decisions (along with TBS's almighty-cant-be-beaten-ness) ended my chances/fun in this pb. Sigh.

So, Amica has 30+ MG's.. I cant dent that. if it was like, 10 i could TRrrrrrrry... but 30 is not possible for me.
Wish i had had Rifling for a little bit longer because he didnt bring much siege and i could have maybe just stayed inside the hill cities with better promoted rifles and had him bleed units..
Sadly i cant do much against him. Goal is to keep him from capturing/razing my HE city for as long as is feasible. Meaning, if he loads that stuff back up, its basically a goner unless i stuff everything in there.
Now, Tarkeel on the other hand i can deal with... He has almost no hitters, he is fighting DZ and spent alot of resources on his navy.
This is my master stack. If its gone im gone. If Tarkeel stays in my city he gets wiped off the face of the earth. I believe he will use his War Chariots as sacrificial pawns and see my stack staring at him. But who knows. I might as well eliminate his cannons and raze that border city of his. It sounds like fun! See how much of his land i can raze before i run out of steam? I bet i can raze 2 cities. There is no way his cannons can get away btw, so they are as good as dead.
Also, DZ is teching Chemistry. Dont know why he cares so much about the seas when he could STOMP with Rifling/Military tradition. (he was teching Printing press recently) Using his 41 to 23 city lead over tarkeel, he could put some serious hurt on him.
If im honest, i want more games like this. But, less people. I want another island hopping "where did that stack of galleons go!?" pitboss. Even though ill get OldHarry'd again after i build TGLH.

Never forget. Quechua's are OP folks. No clue if i will have enough to take the border city. If Tarkeel has/gets MG's before i bombard it to 0%, i wont break it. I lost like 9 50-70% fights in a row. Dont worry, Charriu wouldnt make it so any user under the name of "Superdeath" has luck -1... right?

Im banking on Amica not loading up his forces, or having another wave coming this turn, as i really want to get as many extra rifles out as i can from my HE city for that extra punching power when i hit Tarkeel in 2-3t.
Im hoping to put enough on the hill overlooking the city that he cant just take pot-shots at it all day, and im realllllllllly hoping i have enough catapults to bombard within a turn or two so the rest of my forces can heal. Having a GGmedic is great. Really wish/wonder why Explorers/scouts cant get woody3??

Doesnt mean they cant get it. They cant attack anyway.....
Swear they could get other combat related promos.. Ill have to read up on it again.

yeah, would be a nice archievement, hard enough to get that many promotions for a scout.
I would guess those first strikes are a problem somewhere in the combat script, so it's easier to just just forbid this.
Good luck for your attack, whatever number of days it may last... make marbleland(?) super dead
