What is funny is he isn't even sure if he can come back in 10 turns to take it. Like what is the expansion path now? Probably back through Commodore but now Commodore is better prepared. Unless he gives up that city I don't think he is going for round 2 with Gav.

BTW for some reason I literally ALWAYS forget capture gold in calculations. Ya between capture gold and colossus I think he makes up that 400g in 10 turns pretty easily. Let alone long term just getting colossus.

Brand new here but lurking PB64! I haven't actually played a game of civ before but my partner does and they are trying to get me into it. I'm trying to catch up on everyone's thread but gosh it is a task and a lot of it doesn't make sense yet Still having fun though!

I'm not going to lie I thought about offering to take SDs empire when I saw all those stable queues. Broke my little Vicky heart. But having actual perfect map knowledge and being thoroughly spoiled I knew it wasn't the right thing.

Looks like SD after building stables decided "Maybe I shouldn't just keep slamming my 5 city empire into someone trying to stop one of the major players. Maybe I should expand.

I think this deal between Gavagai and Amicalola is ok, even though the players settled on 1 city per peace treaty. It looks like a legit deal and not an attempt to gift cities to other players. Should we let the players know that?

I would stay with the rules as written as much as possible. A problem with this situation is that it provides a lot of hidden information to the players. This allows them to gauge the strength and intention of other players.

If the players agreed to a rule of "only one city percpeacectreaty" then that's the rule they should be following.
